It was greatest culinary experience of Spanish traditional dinning! Mussels and clams were absolutely perfect! Do not miss the chance to try house wine! You can sit outside and enjoy the sea view or hide yourself in a lovely small place inside with sea decor on the walls (3 tables & a bar). Restaurant's staff is so friendly, willing not only to serve the best food but even offered an umbrella when suddenly started to rain.

Go and find out the Arroz Caldoso con bogavante! This is just wonderfull. It's a mix between paella and soup with lobster. This dish is so delicious. We travel to Roda de Bara twice or three times a year and we don't leave without the arroz caldoso. The paella of course is also very nice but this beats all. The restaurant looks more like a local pub but the service is very friendly.

Harbour restaurants have always a special style and atmo. This one is also very unique and more than just getting food in the marina. You feel like home there. The service is very personal and the food is delicious. We have been there for dinner before we brought the boat to Mallorca. After we had to go the restaurant turns into a party location for a closed group. You see, everything is possible. One thing was most important for me; they iced the glasses for beer and I like beer icecold.

Family restaurant since 1990, Mediterranean food and seafood. Specialists in rice, tapas and gluten-free food.
The restaurant was quite quiet when we went in being early on a Monday night. The food was excellent!!!! We had a house salad starter, and I had the sole a a main course (brought to the table and deboned). The whole experience was really good and for a fair price. Very close to the Meridien Ra which should give some of the more discerning guests a choice if they do not want to join the rabble on the other end of Calafell. Waiter very helpful and friendly.

My husband and I were driving from Barcelona to Tortosa in July and happened upon this marvelous little restaurant overlooking the sea. At the owner's recommendation we had a huge and succulent lobster, accompanied by a delicious chilled white wine, that became the best meal of our trip. We sat on the porch and enjoyed perfect service in a convivial atmosphere on the perfect July day. This is the sort of memory that makes travel so extraordinary. I highly recommend that anyone on this highway stop and find this remarkable spot!

I have been visiting Calafell for over 50 years since a child. This restaurant is very modern & trendy with beautiful decor. We had Menu Del Dia which is more expensive than the other restaurants, but after finishing the meal the price was well justified. The Tapas have a modern twist to some old classic dishes, well done!!

Vell Papiol is a very nice fish restaurant just behind the seaside promenade in town. The staff made every effort to communicate, but it was tougher here than else where. The restaurant is very sophisticated for this area, and well designed. It is very popular with locals. The highlights were a delicious mussel dish and a fantastic monk fish .

Was staying down the promenade at Le Meridien Ra Beach and wanted to have something local for lunch. Came here and had a couple of tapas and some brothy rice with seafood. Was awesome. We speak limited Spanish, but - perhaps a rarety in Spain, unfortunately - were helped out by the staff with what and how to order, and overall with having a lovely meal. Great spot, and for sure authentically local. Give it a try!

You might need to reserve a table on a Friday or Saturday night. The Fideuà was great! Delicious! The two starters we ordered were also very good, forgot which one but one was with raw/smoke fish. Fideuà wasn't cheap, they charge per person but worth a try.

Very cozy beach restaurant specializing in rice and fideuas as well as fresh fish and seafood of the highest quality that you can taste in our volcanic stone charcoal either baked or made with salt while you look at the Mediterranean. Attentive and very f
Second time we eat there! Really good predominantly sea food. We had fideua de marisco, paella melosa de marisco (amazing seafood palla type of stew), fish, mussels, salad, pan con tomate, chiperones, calamares andaluza and kids menu. Everything was absolutely perfect! Actually we returned as we had most probably one of the best paella and fideua there. We were in Barcelona but 35 min drive is totally worth it. We always eat at the terrace but inside looked good too. Service was perfect too. Will return. We are so happy that you enjoy our paella and our fideua and our seafood!! We are very glad that you return and that you feel very good in our restaurant. Thanks for everything and you must to think our house is your house too!!
