Centrally located in the historic town of Christchurch, The Seafood Shack is tucked away in the rear courtyard garden of the award-winning Thomas Tripp. Serving fresh, locally sourced seafood dishes along with a range of simple and tasty charcoal-grilled
I so wanted to award the full five stars to the Seafood Shack but one thing let it down. Firstly however the food, service and ambiance were excellent. I had spicy chicken wings to start - a generous portion and really tasty and I followed up with the monk fish and scallop kebab, absolutely delicious. My wife had the calamari and fish and chips, both of which she really enjoyed. Service was just the right mix of relaxed but timely and the staff were attentive without being overly so. We had a really lovely evening. So why not five stars? They serve some of their food on a wooden plank. Simple as that. Had I been given a plate then it would have been five stars but as it was I had to really concentrate to stop food rolling off the plank on to the floor, as it was I lost a 'wheel' of courgette â not too bad but I only just caught the scallop (also round) which would have been very irritating. The kitchen obviously realise the board is a problem as they serve the rice in a tiny facsimile of a sauce pan. How am I supposed to eat that with a knife and fork? Tipping it out would, of course, have had it all over the table. So if you don't mind eating of a plank of wood then I highly recommend this restaurant.

The Beach House restaurant is situated on the harbour side of the sand spit at Hengistbury Head and enjoys stunning views across the harbour, Hengisbury Head and Mudeford Quay. Hengistbury Head is a car free zone meaning bike, boat or a leisurely stroll a
Popped in during our walk for liquid refreshments. Very expensive, two beers, a Prosecco and a water were 20p off £20. Also several noisy uncontrolled kids running around the indoor area. So we enjoyed our drinks, but felt it both in the ears and in the pocket.

A nice lunch with an old family friend who is a local resident and has eat at Pebble beach many times before. Great atmosphere, nice decor and attentive service. My wife and our friend shared a smoked duck which was beautifully presented and plenty for two. I had the tempura prawns with home made chutney and a spicy tomato sauce. The sauce was superfluous but the prawns and chutney were delicious. I had fish and chips which was nice but the batter a touch under done, my wife and our friend had filet steak which was perfectly cooked and very nice and for pud we had two tiramisu and a choux pastry and ice cream desert which was very nice. Overall nice meal and for that reason I would recommend the Pebble beach for lunch and for dinner too!)

Popped in for tea and cake. Asked what type of cake was on offer as none listed. The waiter was extremely helpful and came back and told us what was available. Pecan bread and butter pudding was chosen by my husband and I. My son chose Bailey's Cheesecake. Shortly after our order was taken we were informed that there was no pecan bread and butter pudding left. We could however have the maple and walnut icecream it would have been served with. We asked if we could have the icecream with the Bailey's Cheesecake. The waiter said this had not been requested before but he would do this. The food was extremely delicious. However the cost of 2 teas, coffee, 3 cheesecake and icecream was £39.

We are The Fry Inn located in Tuckton. All our food is cooked to order, freshly served. We have a wide range of items from fish , burgers, pies, kebabs etc. We aim to provide excellent food with equally excellent service.
Excellent chippy with some great vegetarian options. My veggie family love the Halloumi deep fried with chips and I always go for the Haddock. Busy most nights, but you can place phone orders which I would recommend. Very clean serving area and courteous staff, with about 6 benches inside, about 24 covers if you want to eat in.

Despite the awful weather today a delightful visit to this cafe. Stunning views, attentive staff, lovely food. The best thing I liked was the 100% removal of everything on the table, then cleaned including the chairs, crumbs from floor as well. Dont even get that in the Premier inn we are staying at.Thank you for your 5* review Afternoon tea served at Cliffhanger whatever the weather is always a winner!Really pleased you had a thoroughly enjoyable time at Cliffhanger and enjoyed the lovely food and looked after by attentive staff..Hopefully see you in the dryer weather.Weâve got lots planned for Christmas not only our evening tribute nights but breakfast with Santa plus a Choir on two Sunday afternoons in December all dished up with our superb Christmas lunch menu..

Had a lovely pub lunch here today. Atmosphere in the pub was quite cosy, my husband had the scampi lunch menu and I had a burger - tasty food nicely presented and reasonably priced. Biggest problem was parking - 30 minutes only if parked outside but we did just manage it. I would come back here again.

Browns is our local chippy and it is simply magnificent. The menu is varied and everything tastes delicious. Recently I tried the chicken nuggets for the first time, they were very like Chinese style chicken balls, crunchy yet full of juicy chicken. The chips are always amazing as are the peas, curry sauce, sausages, fish.. In fact everything is soooo tasty.

We went for lunch on Sunday to celebrate a birthday. We arrived early but the team were completely unfazed. Food was excellent; service was exemplary and prices fair (not cheap: fair). Everything was superb with the exception of parking which is always a bit tricky here.............
