Group of 4 visited for lunch. We had a variety of fried and grilled meals along with a couple different appetizers. Everything was fantastic and the waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable as well. Can't wait to go back for dinner with my family.
Crawfish season is back! Come and see us! Grab some friends and EAT AT DAN'S!
Had a quick dinner here last week. Fried fish, shrimp, and fries were good. Tartar sauce was good. Tea and hush puppies were kinda meh. Beats the hell out of long John silvers. Weird menu with Chinese and Cajun food...but what I had was pretty stinking good.

First let me say, if you close your eyes and pretend you are in NOLA you will not be disappointed with your meal. This place has all my favorites. My go to place to get my Cajun fix. Great staff and great prices. If youâre ever in the area it is worth a trip, everything is good. Red beans and rice, Gumbo, fried seafood.... never a bad meal.
Haven't been to Long Silvers for many years. I always liked their chicken with extra "crunchies" crunchies not like used to be..chicken today had one piece that had skin on it.. Hush puppies ok but I'm not a hush puppy person. Fries weren't hot and blah. Not coming back. Friendly staff though.
Fresh fish, shrimp, oysters, crawfish tails, frog legs and Scallops. This restaurant was clean, unassuming and delivered GREAT service. The plates were loaded with food and everything including the salads were extremely fresh.

THE southern komfort KITCHEN, in La Porte, TX, prepares food from scratch -- like Grandma used to make. Southern American food done the old-fashioned way.
Returning after being gone for three years and brought a first time guest. Appetizer was gumbo and out of bounds delicious my lunch was the Cheddar Soup with vegetables. My guest had the vegetable plate with dinner salad and their home made blue cheese dressing. Fried Okra, Broccoli Rice Casserole and Macaroni and Cheese. Yes the entire lunch was outstanding. So get on in here and enjoy what we already know. Retired Chef Gene
We went looking somewhere to eat after church. The lack of cars in the parking lot should have been a sign. We had 4 adults and 3 kids. Waitress not friendly. Finally took our order then didn't see her again until salads. Never offered to refill drinks or take trash or anything. Food took forever and wasn't good. Then she brought everyone else's food except the two year olds grilled cheese. That was not fun. She brought the rest several minutes later and never saw her again until we waived her down for the check. They tried charging us 15% gratuity which came to $13. I will never go again

Convivial chain dishing up hearty portions of New Orleans-style seafood, steaks, salads & more.
We met friends here for dinner and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The restaurant feels like you're stepping into a bit of old New Orleans and has a charming courtyard, fountains, and an oasis of beautiful tropical plants. Even though there was a slight wait to be seated, the service was friendly, and they have a nice bar area. My husband and I shared the Mediterranean seafood salad that consisted of a large Greek salad topped with fresh shrimp, lump crabmeat, and a tasty lemon vinaigrette and the Chargrilled Shrimp Brochette that had perfectly cooked shrimp stuffed with a sliver of jalapeno to give it a little kick, all wrapped in crisp bacon. They let us substitute asparagus for the dirty rice for a slight upcharge, and they served everything with a large loaf of delicious French bread. I had a glass of their sangria, and it was perfect on a hot summer day. We've eaten at several different locations around the city, and the food is always good and reliable. Portions were large enough that we had some to take home with us. If you're looking for good seafood and a fun night out in a nice atmosphere, this place is hard to beat.

This is a small horseshoe shape restaurant. That only has a bar type seating, either looking inward towards bartender or outward toward parking lot. There is ramp outside for wheelchairs however once inside, wheelchair seating & accessiblity is VERY limited. The bartender will take your drink & food order. Drinks & food will be brought to you. Even though the entire restaurant seemed crowded and chaotic our order was quick, correct and best of all delicious! The outer layer of the soft shell crab is edible. They have a selection of beer and the wine is served in small individual serving bottles. Go to this restaurant for the atmosphere. The local crowd is loud, friendly and helpful. To contradict a previous bad review, everybody in our party was WHITE and we LOVED it!

For over 25 years, Monument Inn has been your destination to share family traditions and special occasions with great food and a great atmosphere! Specializing in fresh Gulf Coast seafood, we've become one of Houston's most popular restaurants. In fact, w
I drove all the way from Pearland for a party. I ordered baked potato soup, salad and calamari appetizer. I did not like the soup. It was yellow, had too many tiny diced potatoes and was tasteless. Very little cheese, sour cream or bacon. The calamari was spicy, salty, very tough, stringy and tasted very seafood. It was overcooked, not fresh & had very little meat. The salad was ok, nothing special. It had one tiny tomato, 2 thin slices of cucumber & iceberg lettuce. My cinnamon roll (their specialty) was ok, but mine did not have the gooey cinnamon in the middle like the others did. Disappointing. Other people in my party liked their meals. I have been here 2 times before and liked what I ordered before. Not sure what the problem was today. They always make a large party that has reservations wait until everyone is there before being seated. Ridiculous!Very sorry that your recent meal was not up to our usual standards. We hope you won't let one off-day ruin other great meals you've shared with us. This won't happen again and we know we can get you another delicious meal in the future. Best,Loreny, Manager
