One of our favorite meals south of Rome. The cold appetizer tasting dish and the fried appetizer spreads were both amazing. Their beef stew pasta was amazing - can't recall the name. We loved everything we ordered, all unique compared to other meals we've had in southern italy.

It was a cool wet Monday evening when my husband and I stumbled onto Crub while visiting Cava De' Tirreni. We intended on only having a glass of wine, but after being seated in this upscale dining room, chatting with our wonderful host, Salvatore, while nibbling on a few appetizers sent from the kitchen, we decided to stay for dinner.Since the menu was only in Italian, Salvatore translated it for us and made suggestions. Our food was fresh, inventive, and positively delicious--a meal that would be difficult if not impossible to find in the US. I would highly recommend Crub when visiting Cave De' Tirreni!

I've been in Pappacarbone September 14.Rocco the 'cuoco' and the owner is an amazing person, very kind, full of taste and authentic. We had the full menu and since appetiser to dessert it was delicious with a good local wine choice.Rocco is very able to select the raw ingredients and to propose the best dishes because each season you have different menu. Finally we had 2 hours and half dinner and we were enthusiasts.

Taste the real Italy in a budget priced family run restaurant where both the food and welcome are outstanding.Simple restaurant without menus where you choose what you want them to cook from the cold cabinet.Spaghetti with Clams was outstanding! Beware the red chilies on the table!Only Italian spoken which just adds to the experience.A short walk from the Holiday Inn and recommended by the staff there. They even sent out for a cappuccino for me as they provide only the usual espresso after dinner!Ate there twice with great experiences and very reasonable bills - a great antidote to the tourist traps on the Amalfi coast.

We had dinner at this place twice! The staff is super friendly and the food is outstanding!! Most products come from their own garden like olive oil, tomatoes, zucchini, basil, menthe. Do have local wines from the Amalfi regio but also wines from other Italian regions. We loved their Grappa selection.

Visited this restaurant based upon Trip Advisor ranking. In short food Ok Tuna with scabs (crust) was tasty. However what let the place down was the service having just finished my food the plate was whisked away whilst my wife was still eating. My wife advised the waiter that this was bad manners, so he sulked and we did not see him again. We asked for the bill, the locals were offered a free glass of grappa we recd nothing only the bill and a grunt from the disgruntled waiter. Won't be going back.

All the other reviews highlighting exceptional quality, service, value and graciousness are spot on. The location is great, just up from Vietri Su Mar with a parking lot across the street and near the Autostrada. Enzo, who is one of the owners, suggested a perfect lunch menu for us along with a wine pairing, all for around 60 euros. He even had everything plated separately so we could share each dish. This was by far one of the best meals we have ever had in our four trips to Italy, and definitely the culinary highlight of this trip. If you go, you will absolutely not be disappointed.
