typical cuisine with dishes from Sardinia and Castellanese tradition. seafood specialties with the opportunity to enjoy fresh fish of the Asinara Gulf. Do not miss the famous fish soup Castellanese and Sardinian suckling pig with myrtle.
We've been 6 people for late dinner. Restaurant was not very busy and waiter spoke English, what is rare for Sardinia. We've been served by 3 or 4 people and all of them were cool, not expected such good service in Sardinia. Seafood, pasta, Drinks, desserts all perfect. They even did heart for lady's cappuccino and heart tomato:-) Complimentary liquors also great. It was a pleasure, thank you so much

Nice setting on the terrace and the ravioli with mint and pecorini is wonderfull. The meat with vodka sauce is good. The housewine is excellent. Nice and friendly service. To share dishes was no problem. High scores on the Sardinie list of best restaurants. This is correct.

Food tastes fine - nothing spectacular - and very expensive for what you get - we were only visiting for the afternoon so didnât have the opportunity to try another place to provide a comparison .... it might be how it is locally? .... must say service is particularly poor though it does seem very popular with locals .... finally do triple check your bill before paying - we were overcharged by quite a bit .... Thankfully there was no problem getting the bill adjusted .... will not be returning any time soon

A sensory experience that flows into the sublime, a poem of flavors that comes from an ancient and mysterious land: Sardinia !!
This lovely restuarant, the centrepoint of Bajaloglia Resort, is popular with locals and it is not hard to see why. Huge portions of tasty food from a menu deeply rooted in Sardinian produce and flavours and it most certainly does not break the bank. The wine list similar with a strong emphasis on Cannonau and Vermentino. The wait staff fast and attentive. One night, when it was very busy, they were almost running (some people would call it jogging) all while balancing laden plates of food. I have eaten in a fair few supposedly more exalted places where that would be beneath them. The food? Try the tuna carpaccio starter. A large plate absolutely covered â and that for one person. A meal in itself as was each of the pasta choices we tried. Fish features strongly as does shellfish. The fresh fish with potatoes offers a choice of fish and we loved the sea bass. Again plenty of it.We ate there every night of our stay at Bajaloglia and there was not one disappointment. Thinking back I cannot remember too many places of which I could say that.

We asked for the imperfecte restaurant at our hotel reception desk, we were told that there was no table left. We were booked in the Cormorano restaurant. ( later it was revealed that the receptiën clerk was the daughther of the owner of the restaurant, the Italian keep it in the family). The restaurant was a really posh restaurant with a lot of upsmuck and fancy treatment. the dishes were OK though for the prices charged not more than that. Very friendly staff which does speak a decent English.

Such wonderful food, perfectly cooked steak, fresh succulent sea bass, taken off the bone for you, home made bread, great presentation, and best of all was... Luciano! Luciano is the friendliest most welcoming host, he made our last day visiting very special. I hope he opens more restaurants! Highly recommend!!!

Excalibur is definitely the heart of Lu Bagnu. It is always the most popular and busy restaurant with good reason: the food is good and well-priced; the service is efficient but friendly and welcoming; it is a nice experience. We went several times as we were staying in the adjacent hotel and were never disappointed.
