Friendly restaurant with local proproduOpen for season summer only September to March.
On our first day at Cap Malheureux, we wanted to try local cuisine and so we asked around. At the same time I browsed in Tripadvisor and the choice was on this small Resto on the main road. Selvane welcomed us with a big smile and pays a lot of attention, especially for out little girls. We got 2 Mojitos and then we picked from the menu the seafood platter x2.I have to admit Fish was fresh and cooked tasty with rice a light sauce. But I believe the quantity in the plate did not justify the price of 3800 Rupees equal to 100 Eur. Too expensive. I do not pay this price in Dublin (IE) where dining out, fish based, is quite expensive. All in all was a nice evening out, but price ways inadequate. In addition they do not accept any credit card. So I needed to leave a deposit and clear the balance the next day.Hello sir..thank you for this lovely comment. Really appreciate. ..as for the expensive price you mentioned.. it was not only the seafood platter...it was a formule...where you have been served with snacks for two...two starters and two deserts home made rhum and the child menu i didnt charge...please note i also always mention my restaurant use only fresh and selective ingrediet which differ us from other restaurants...thank you again...cordially Selvana...

This is a nice & festive restaurant with lots of character located in the famous Banana Beach Club. The Gourmet Grill is much more than a grill, we feature local seafood and weekly specials. Our menu includes Seafood Risotto, Camarons (Giant fresh water s
The food is good and the seafood is fresh. However is quite pricey in regards to the quantity. The starters are served in very small portions. It costs us around Rs 1,666 per person. However the atmosphere was nice with live singer and the dim lights around but clear enough to eat. Thank you for your review, all the best

Cool place to visit even though the day before we were put off by the unhelpful staff. Arrived to dine in the area with our Mastercard to pay, thankfully this restaurant accepts Cards. We shared a starter (Prawns) my lady had a Gin and Tonic, bottle of water for me. The main course was Lamb cutlets and Tuna for me and only had to pay £42. The portions were large and the service was excellent, the taste was superb all well cooked and just right. We will visit again!

Best Restaurant in Pereybere, Grand Baie Mauritius.
Beef sizzling (hot pot) and fish in tomato (dorada). Beef sizzling 450 mur - you need to order extra rice - additional 150 mur. Total 600 mur or 16 eur pre meal. I mean expensive. Back to the beef - it was like chewing gum, I guess that chicken should be better choice. Vegetables in pot was very good. Fish - fillet from fish in tomato saucewas OK, french fries was included. Typical drinks and rum as desert. Staff is quick, smile, helpful. Atmosphere is good. Restaurant do not except cards, but you can pay in mur or in euro. Very flexible.

Nice beach restaurant with amazing setting and first class environment. Whether you are holidaying or need to show a cleint a special place its a great place to go... There seems to be resident se plane there. Restaurant food is good, be careful though as some of the options seem to hace small portions relative to cost. Excellent service.
