Decided to try Bar O Porto instead of eating every meal at A Marina. Not disappointed. The food and a nice cold beer made for a pleasurable lunch with nice outside seating.

Had a great time we stayed for nine nights in this hotel and we found nothing wrong.it is family run and they would do anything for you including translating for us.
The Nautical Club of Camarinas is the only nautical facility on the Costa da Morte (A Coruna) which has its facilities open all year round. Its strategic location, in the very heart of the Costa da Morte and in the sheltered estuary of Camarinas, makes it
Sailed into Camarinas for a night. Deeded to refuel the boat and us. After a walk around the town with ended up where we started. Food is good basic Galician fare that you see across the region done nicely. Portions are huge (rasiones). Staff friendly, speaking French helps but they have a menu in English if you need it. Pulpo was rustic cut version.

A great restaurant with a wide range of seafood and fishes on the menu the prices were adecuate. I highly recommend Sargo (seabream). Situated in the harbour right by the main road. The only negative thing, like in many spanish restaurants, was the fairly ignoring service and a wait for the table even though there were some free ones. Highly recommend!

The authenticity of the coast and customs. The house they lived Lolo whose walls are still full of echoes of ancient legends and seafaring traditions . The hotel of charm " to the lolo " late in the heart of the beautiful streets of Muxia , bathed in the
Yes, the restaurant is closed. For how long, I don't know. From what I could make out, there was a notice (in Spanish) that mentioned issues with health and cleanliness. What was specifically disappointing for me is that it is the only restaurant in Muxia that also caters to Vegans and Vegetarians... and there are few enough of these in Spain

Care and stylish restaurant overlooking the sea. Just 5 meters from the water, next to the Information Point, overlooking the old fish market and near the Nautical Club. Our main dishes are based on local products like fish or seafood rice. All our desser
A local shopkeeper recommended this restaurant to us for lunch. It was fantastic! The owner was our waiter too - very knowledgeable and just classy! We started with percebes - this is the area that is famous for these goose neck barnacles. They were incredibly fresh and tasted like the sea. . We both had fish for the main course. The scallops and flounder were so sweet and fresh. The waiter presented the whole sole to us and then took it back into the kitchen to be filleted. The wine was also a local varietal. This place is a gem - we have eaten in Madrid, Barcelona and many other cities, but this was the best!

Our party of 3, after a long day hiking and sightseeing, was eagerly looking forward to a "special" dinner in this highly regarded restaurant. I'm happy to say we were not disappointed. The dining room has a lovely maritime ambience (the website pictures are accurate!). The dining room is medium sized but the tables are fairly close together. However, it was a quiet night, with only two other tables occupied when we visited. So I can't comment on what it would be like if full.Service was helpful and efficient and the staff were very friendly. Menus were available in English if required. For starters we had: Pimientos Padron, Sopa de Marisco and Ensalada de Pina. All good portions, excellent quality and very tasty. For mains; Bacalso Brasa, Solomillo and Paletilla Cordero. All had the "wow" factor.Washed down with a bottle of the house recommended Refugallo Godello (â¬18) and two (pushed the boat out!) bottles of Refugallo (Ribeira Sacra) @ â¬16. The 0.5l bottles of water were only â¬1.50, no rip off here. The total bill (before tip) came to â¬126.50, food cost just â¬72 of that figure. An excellent meal, great value and overall a very enjoyable experience.

We came across this place by chance. Actually we just had our lunch from a different village but especially attracted by our craving for Percebes! First we were greeted warmly by this gentleman whom we got to know as the proprietor, Mr. Ramonchu. He recommended that we try the Caldeira Rape. Rape is Monkfish in English. We appreciate our seafood to be cook just right. The Percebes was fresh and cook perfectly. Despite the owner explained that this are small sized ones but our 0.5kilos portion was plum in size and juicy, tender to our palette. Then the monkfish was cooked to perfection. The fish was firm but very tender to taste and not rubbery at all. One have to be very skillful in cooking Monkfish. The potatoes that come with Caldeira melts in the mouth. Love it! Also look-out for their "antique" coffee machine. I find it refreshing compared to the new models of today. So, I hope for those reading our little experience, can also enjoy good seafood as much as we do.

Where do I begin the list of faults is sadly long. Having found our first restaurant choice on the Thursday night of our visit closed with no explanation we headed for the number 1 TA rated restaurant in town - The Villa de Oro.When we arrived the lights were all out and the place looked closed apart from a few locals guys watching soccer on TV. The owner insisted they were open and ushered us in despite our misgivings we had no other place to eat so went in.The menus arrived and we ordered ....firstly Pimentos de Padron , but er no, not available , so we asked for the octopus and again .....er no, not available which seemed odd in a fishing town that specialises in octopus, equally having watched the mussel boats come in loaded to the gills there wasn't a single mussel dish on offer. In the end we had some prawns on the plancha no doubt from Equatorial Africa which were ok but hardly out of the ordinary. For main course we ordered Caldeirada Mixta which was described on the menu as " like bouillabaisse " - I've eaten enough bouillabaisse and bourides and fish stews in my time to sink a ship and this was nothing like it, and in fact was one of the most disappointing I dishes I've seen consisted of three large pieces of white fish, we think was hake of some kind surrounded by sliced potatoes and peas probably frozen and in some oil based liquid , and that was it, unseasoned, bland and very very ordinary. Neither of us finished the meal. The only positives I can find were the portions were large but little consolation given the quality and the wine was very pleasant. Adding insult to injury we were even charged a euro for bread.....come on that's a bit rich when the whole meal incl coffee was 60 euros! Among the worst value I can recall. Having had to pay for in a long time. We won't be going back and if I were you I'd head for the delightful town further along the coast westward called Muros, prettier town and better restaurant choices.

Very nice lunch of pimientos de Padrón, pulpo, and mixed fish. It was a busy midweek lunchtime but the service was excellent and the food simple and very tasty. Good location. Would recommend giving it a try.
