Your holiday is incomplete without a visit to Come Together where people make friends and friends meet friends. Come for a meal stay for a drink!
We booked through The Fork/ Tripadvisor which secured a welcome 30% discount. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food delicious and well presented. There was also a 30% discount available for people dining before 6.30pm. We enjoyed a number of restaurants in Funchal but this one is definitely one of the best. Also good to see some options for vegetarian diners which can be lacking in Madeira.

We popped into Camara De Lobos to see if we could find this restaurant as we'd eaten there 7-8 years before. The staff are very welcoming and the restaurant offers a fine view of the sea and Cabo Girao above. We had time for a quick snack and ordered some squid "Salteados" and peixe mixte. Both were very good, with the main course came some steamed veg and fried maize.Overall it was good value for money and we'd love to return next time in Madeira.

Came across this restaurant after not wanting to be hassled into eating in the harbour. We love seafood and wanted to sample local produce, the waiter was very helpful in assisting our food choices. We chose to eat outside and to begin with was lovely but the wind got up and we asked to move inside, this was no problem for the staff. The mixed seafood that we had was fabulous, the lobster was huge we actually felt bad for not being able to eat the vegetables and salad. Would definitely go back and also recommend and when the sun is shining even better.

4th time this year we have visited.Staying in hotel over the road but prefer a quiet intimate meal. The food is tasty ,well cooked and great value,a simple menu so you know stuff is cooked fresh .Staff are welcoming and attentive.Tables outside in gazebo when weather is warm but it is heated outdoors too.Even in winter it is mild enough to eat outside if you're from u.k .Will return next time we are over on holiday .Dear guest and member of Tripadvisor, we like to thank you for your kind words and to let you know that you will be always welcomed at our restaurant Dona Nina

The setting for this restaurant is beautiful, ideal for a romantic lunch or families alike. We had drinks first then had a 3 course lunch and were very impressed. The prices were reasonable, portions sizes very good and there was a wide selection to choose from. The two house specials salted tuna with red beans and the marinated pork roasted in a wood oven with vegetables were fantastic and so pretty to look at. Desserts were unusual, my husband had banana with cheese and I had pitanga ice cream both were very good indeed. Would not hesitate to return. The staff were lovely, friendly, helpful and attentive but not overly so, they were quite happy to let you have a leisurely lunch. Very highly recommended.

As others stated before me, the location is excellent : high on a cliff overviewing a quasi private bay, directly at the cliff edge. Perfect in nice weather. The food isn't bad but to be honest, I would not recommend any of the starters but the main courses are good to very good. We have been several times to this restaurant and only once were we disappointed in the quality of the main course (a T-Bone steak that could rival with an old shoe...). The wines and the service are exceptionally good. But you need time : waiting (with a glass of bubbles that is being offered) until the order is taken, waiting before the food is served, waiting until you get billed. But in that beautiful spot, who cares?

Restaurant staff were very enterprising by meeting passengers off the Yellow Bus who were either stopping or waiting to go on the smaller bus to Gabo Girão and inviting them to their establishment knowing that the wait for the bus could be 50 minutes. We had a good glass of wine and a beer whilst waiting.

Excellent light lunch today, thanks to suggestion and good reviews on TA. We stopped at this small restaurant on a lovely warm & sunny day. Selected 2 tapas dishes to share. Sardines crostini & stuffed peppers. Both delicious. Washed down with a beer. Highly recommended

I had a recommendation so went for lunch. We sat outside in the courtyard, which was very pleasant... tables were spread out well, not so close to other tables. Good choices on the menu, but even with all the choice I decided to have the Scabbard fish again in Madeira, but this time with an almond crust. A starter of bruschetta was very good. The fish was delicious, it could have been slightly dry on its own, but came with a good bowl of sauce, along with potatoes and salad. The Polvo was gorgeous, I almost wish I'd chosen that, but I can have next time! We finished with a passion fruit Panna Cotta which was delicious. With a half bottle of Casal Garcia it was a really lovely lunch for a very reasonable price. Thank you, will come here again sometime.

Visited here on reading rave reviews on trip advisor and disappointed with the lack of decent fish restaurants in Funchal. We arranged with our hotel to make the reservation and book the minibus which arrived on time with little fuss.On arriving at the restaurant we were shown to our table but we could have sat anywhere as it was so quiet. We arrived just before sunset and the views were stunning. The service from beginning to end was exemplary and we enjoyed selecting our own fish though the choice was limited. The turbot fillet was cooked to perfection and the accompaniments fresh and plentiful.A glass of Madeira wine at the end toasted a lovely evening.
