Every dish we had was tasty and authentic. You know a place is good when the pincho leaves you wanting more. Location is great for the beach.

Once upon a time, there was a little cantine with the best views over the Beluso Beach which was managed by the owner, Manolo, who verbally offered the fresh products daily supplied by fishermen, sailors, farmers,...The typical menú was an entrance of seafood and then a fresh fish at your choice, plus a bottle of a good local white wine and a home made pudding followed with a coffee and a ship of Aquavit. The bill was modest and thus, most of the customers used to repeat their visit. But, always a but, last month we went three times given the lovely weather and the lack of crowds of turistas and we realized that when Manolo is running the business, the quality and the bill keep on modest as they used to be, but when he is not, his role is taken by a son and surprisingly the quality and the quantity are much worse, and moreover, the bill Is higher than a famous restaurant located at a short walking distance over the Beach where the waiters are properly dressed, where a menu with prices might quietly be studied by the customers, where the tables are properly dressed with tableclothes instead of a paper one , ....in conclusión, we will never more be repeating given the better and cheaper existing alternative.

Fabulous Spanish and Gallician dishes: seafood, big lobster, turbot, cod, hake, monk-fish, sole, squid, octopus,... You can combine them with tasty Spanish and regional wines. The freshly home-made desserts are must. You can live this experience in our ou
Excellent restaurant. Only a la carte. We had delicious pulpo with potatoes and grilled calamari with peppers and sweet onion and fried patates. Portions are enormous. Of course we drank a delicious fruity Albarino.

Last night in Bueu & we thought that the No1 in Trip Advisor ought to get a visit, & give it its first English review. The decor is very white & the television blaring away seemed at odds with a place that seemed to aim more at couples than families. The food & service were excellent though. We sampled a simple salad (as fresh as they all seem to be round here), delicious sardines on toast, and for mains a slightly odd hake/mussels combo and a fish new to me called sargo (a type of bream Wikipedia revealed) which was very moorish. I had ordered sea bass but when they showed me the size of the catch I was convinced the smaller sargo was a wiser choice. Both mains were served with potatoes & veg. The short local wine list was enticing & we splashed out on the dearest Albariño at â¬18.5 and it was gorgeous. A very creamy cheesecake pud & coffee to finish and still all for â¬70 was pretty damn good.

A large place with plenty of outside seating (though undercover) & lots of inside seating was pretty empty when we visited in an August Wednesday evening. We tried the razor clams, alongside the usual salad, both delicious starters. For mains we had hake and turbot. Both were served with the most awesome chips, frankly just like my ole grandma made and she did make the best chips in the world! The hake was lovely, but the turbot was disappointing; I know it's traditionally a very expensive fish and at â¬19 I couldn't expect too much from it, but I did hope for more than a few mouthfuls of fish. We topped it off with a delicious baked cheesecake and we were given a rather enticing cold alcoholic coffee drink after the hot coffees which was a very nice touch and reflected the excellent service throughout.

Very good. A bit pricey for the region, but food was superb, service was decent(anywhere in europe, service tends to lag). Highly recommend

There are at least three options; eat on the street, in the bar or in the inner restaurant area; choice will depend on your frame of mind and the time of day. I would certainly recommend the paella like seafood in rice and the scallops although the Galician Hake and beef steak were also good. If you want a romantic quiet meal ask to use the restaurant, otherwise be prepared to be engulfed in the atmosphere of a well used 'locals' eating house.

The best monkfish casserole in the world. A bit pricey but you won't regret it. Accompany it with the house Aberino white wine. perfect and cheap at â¬8.
