We decided to have burgers for lunch and stumbled upon this little takeaway bar along the beachfront.I had the bacon deluxe burger and my partner had the chicken burger we were both incredibly impressed by not only the food but also the staff, to make it even better we were here on a Monday were these burgers were only $10!Highly recommend a trip here.

Uptown Gastropub is our interpretation of the very best elements of a great Aussie Pub â itâs all about good beer, good food, outstanding, friendly service in a cosy, welcoming place where itâs easy to meet friends and pass the time! The term âgastropubâ
Clearly a lot of work has gone into the Gastropub. It's decor, whilst semi-pretentious, is quite comforting and relaxing. The seating is comfortable in parts, practical and functional in others - a good little mix and vast. There is no shortage of tables or space to move around (when it's not happy hipster hour).Felt comfortable with one of the bar staff who was willing to offer a craft beer selection based on commercial taste preference and a very small sample offering. Very nice brew, but pricey if you enjoyed and continued.Lunch was the Angus Burger. A really great burger design with great tastes and a bun that beats many. The jalapeno mayo had me confused at first but it gives a nice little zip to the taste buds. I wanted it to be amazing in every aspect but unfortunately the meat patty, whilst flavoursome, was grisly and more than disappointing. Every mouthful whilst beautiful in taste, required a serviette for the hard and horrible bits. It is a small thing, but so big when it comes to enjoying a nice lazy lunchtime burger.Has potential for all. I believe for the folk who just want a relaxed lunch, you'll be pretty happy. If you want to go and make a night, you'll love it (just pack the credit card). It is, after all though, a Gastropub - the mere thought for casual folk is $ (cha-ching), for many others it is fun, fantastic and nothing the wallet can't handle.Good luck guys.

Great value awesome food with the service touch of going to your Aunts place for lunch. The proportions are good, the oil at exactly the right temperature and the ambiance superb. The place was full for Saturday lunch and had a lovely vibe from the patrons.

Serving modern Australian cuisine with flavours from around the world, the place to relax and unwind, enjoying fresh food in an amazing beachside location with family and friends.
Excellent coffee, great friendly service. Wonderful location. My wife ordered an item from the menu. Zucchini and Corn fritters. They were extremely tasty and would recommend them without hesitation. On the other hand I ordered savoury mince with âhappy eggsâ off the specials board. The mince had an unusual undertone and one egg was beautifully cooked with a slightly runny yolk and the other medium and slightly overcooked for my taste. I wouldnât order that again. Prices were both a few dollars higher than expected for a similar meal in Sydney. Overall an average experience

What a disappointing experience. There are so many great restaurants in Mooloolaba, but this was not one of them. Very expensive, but not great quality food. Drinks were very slow coming and food took even longer. The side was served significantly after the main. One of our steaks had to be returned as it was way over. The replacement steak took quite some time, too, and was not very fresh. Surely the offer of a drink to compensate for the mix up would have been what a fine dining restaurant would do? The shepherds pie was the only really enjoyable dish of the night.

This Restaurant is tucked away in the Wharf Complex but the atmosphere is really terrific. The Wharf has had a massive upgrade and for the better. They are situated under the Blue Tower and facing the canal. The food is always consistent every time we are there. They have a set priced menu - main and dessert including a glass of house wine which is very reasonable. The wait staff are attentive and pleasant. Do yourself a favour and get back to See Restaurant.

I know it's the coast and not a culinary centre, but unfortunately Augellos was not good. Service was painfully slow (40 minutes from ordering before the food arrived and not once did our waiter come over to check in or offer us another round of drinks). When the food did arrive it was underwhelming which only added to our experience. Pizza with bases that looked like something out of the frozen food section, pasta dishes with sauce that seemed to be little more than underseasoned tomato paste. My shredded duck dish even had a stripped duck leg bone hidden in the sauce. To cap off the night we were overcharged on our bill. I don't think it is too much to ask for the food and service to be conducted with a little more care and attention when the meals were far from cheap. It felt like a restaurant trading off past glories. Forgettable

Without a doubt this was the best dining experience weâve enjoyed on the Sunshine Coast ever. Lovely location (tucked away) super friendly staff as a welcoming start. The food was brilliant. Had the fish of the day (Barramundi) that was cooked to perfection and the desert special, omg, it was soo good.If you are looking for a seriously good dining experience that wonât break the bank this is the place for you. Thanks for your lovely review and top rating. Our chef, Matt Dearing, loves cooking fish to perfection - its one of his great loves at work! And he labours over getting the desserts exactly right too. If you're going to finish off with a sweet, you should be rewarded by it being wonderful - and worth every calorie :-)

I feel compelled to write another review about this Maroochydore favourite. Food is superbly cooked and presented, using fresh and Australian sourced produce. Staff are friendly, efficient, and extremely helpful. Ambience is excellent with a nice position in the centre of the older Maroochydore heart. Pricing is at exactly the right level where you donât feel ripped off, and go away happier for the wonderful experience.
