Take away in Almere Buiten is very good. The babi pang gang is lovely and crisp.Restaurant in Almere Haven: food is good. Seating is too cramped and lighting is awful - no attempt to create some atmosphere and way too bright. Service seemed rushed and impersonal. Too expensive on a weekend for what you get to my opinion. â¬33,- for All you can eat, which means 2 dishes per round and though portions are a bit bigger, it's far less than the average of 5 per round at about 28 euros on weekend, that you get here at other places. I was invited, I'd not go there if I was choosing the restaurant.

The food is good/very good. Drinks selection could be better. Not cheap but afriendly service and overall a acceptable price/quality ratio. However, we were seated in the section near the kitchen and there the smells are overwhelming on the verge of suffocating, you'r probably a lot better off in the other section. On the plus: food is served at your table, no long ques at the kitchen +/+ !

Restaurant in a nice location in Blaricum. Atmosphere OK but staff could be more welcoming. At the end of the evening one gets the sense that it is time to leave... the menu is ok, quality good but choice somewhat limited.

With three terraces on the water, overlooking "Het Gooimeer" and situated in the little harbour of Almere Haven, this restaurant is s unique location in Almere. Brasserie Bakboord is open for 7 days a week from 11AM till 10:30PM. You are more than welcome
We opted for starter and main course. The food was quite good however, for the price you pay it probably is not worth it. For example starters: around 15 Euros for 1 scallop, or 13 Euros for 4 Shrimps. For Mains the quality of the meat was very good. The Tuna dish however didn't seem to work with the vermicelli. So all in all an average experience.Dear Qasim,Thank you for your review. Sorry to read that in your opinion some dishes are overpriced. The scallop dish with risotto, cauliflower, parmesan and hazelnut. One scallop is on top of the risotto, the other is cutted into small pieces and mixed with the risotto. There is a difference in price of fresh scallops we using or scallops from the fridge or in a glass jar. Fresh scallops are expensive in this season. The other dish of Gamba, melon, parsley, popcorn and curry, we use the bigger gambaâs off high quality which cost more than average scrimp. All dishes are made using the freshest seasonal and where possible, sustainable ingredients. This means that it can have an impact on the price we have to pay to our supplier and the selling price. The tuna dish and the vermicelli didn't work together. I respect your personal opinion in this. See you next time in Brasserie Bakboord.

This is located in the beautiful village of Blaricum, with its old farm houses, and is a great spot for a nice family lunch or dinner. Food is very good, and consistent, service friendly, and they have great sandwiches, salads and entrees. We eat there often, when in the Netherlands, and I redcommend it.

The fish atelier annex fish restaurant has just started in May 2017. Its owner is Anna-Maria van Leeuwen, who has an excellent drive to make her business a success, based upon empathy, outstanding quality and service. Every detail fits. Best quality, good staff, cooks, waiters, gallant personnel, excellent service, cleanness, restrooms. Very reasonable prizes. Good recipes, soops, seafood, ice creams (home made with pure ingredients), high trust. The fish shop, the restaurant, the ice cream parlour, the art (paintings, photos, sculptures) make you feel home.

Based on the good reviews we decided to go here with a group of colleagues after enjoying some go kart racing at Coronel in Huizen. It's a small place a little bit hidden away behind the bigger restaurants on the Huizen beachfront. Staff is friendly, but not very professional and inattentive. We ordered some sushi to share with the whole group of us. It really was the slowest sushi service I have ever encountered. And I have eaten at quite a lot of sushi places before. The restaurant only had 3 tables filled, so that couldn't explain for the slow service. Also when they were serving a plate with sushi, it was already finished within a few minutes because we were all so hungry, so that should have been an indication to them to speed up the delivery.Furthermore there was not a pro-active attitude from the staff towards asking if we would like to have another drink or something else. The table was often filled with empty bottles and glasses. Staff would just stand waiting at the cash register, one meter away from us, doing nothing. They could clearly have seen that they could earn extra money by taking a few steps and asking if we wanted another drink. Several times I had to insist the staff on asking people if they wanted another drink before they did so. Bizarre. In the beginning we were served three plates (group of 7) with something on it. No idea what it was, they didn't explain. After some time, one out of three plates got taken away. Why only one? Why not the other two? No idea. Really messy. The sushi itself was fair, nothing more. Certainly no highlight. Prices are pretty on the high side. I rather go for an all you can eat concept (which this place doesn't offer) where I get fast service, pay (much) less and actually leave the place without still being hungry. We stopped ordering because it simply took too long to get served.Really would not recommend this place. Don't know Huizen, but there must be better places around.

I have dined last winter in this restaurant with Dutch friends who took me here. You need the car, I presume taxi from Amsterdam would be quite expensive. Over all, great, professional service . Somehow I think it lacks of great Dutch sense of Humor, but staff was knowledgeable of wine and food .Other issue was a slow service/ restaurant was busy, but we needed to wait almost 45 minutes of our food. Thank goodness company was good.Food: very good. My soup (Hot)was unbelievable good, Lamp was tender and tasty, desert (even it was just ice cream, but I am Ice cream fan) was very good. Wine recommendation fro m waiter good. Not a typical expensive recommendation but reasonable price for good wine. Over all experience on my second visit: Good place which I would recommend Not your tourist type of the restaurant, but a proper, good DUTCH restaurant with great food and Wine. When Dutch do something well, boys they do it Well. Thank you Ps Total Bill Euro 244/ 4 people each had ,3 aperatives, 2 courses, 3 deserts, and 2 bottles of Sparkling water and one bottle of white wine !

Friendly place. Has a wide choice of dishes, most of them good. Friendly staff and nice views of the water. Desserts are slightly too sweet, but mains were good.
