Use to be a favorite however this recent visit revealed disappointing weaknesses. The young boy pouring water had more manners than not just our waiters, but numerous wait staff within the area of the table. I understand this is an Italian restaurant with âauthenticâ feel, but feeling like Joe Pesci was the server was a bit much. The waiter had a dirty apron, forgot some of our order & used a chin flip to acknowledge a request. (Are you getting the idea??). The rib eye was $48., chilean sea bas $32. Al a cart. So I may not return until the management puts some shine on the customer experience.

We've been coming here for at least four years now (so long in fact that one of their first 'waving Roadside Lobsters' was one of my apprentices and now has become a journeyman carpenter). We always and I do mean always grab our seafood here throughout the year, the fish is always fresh, the oysters that we grill are nothing short of sweet, the clams are of equal quality and they are a mandatory stop at least once a month when Peconic Bay Scallops are in season. We come here at least 4 to 5 times throughout the summer to dine outside in the able seating to enjoy the many seafood dinner selections they offer. Whether your eating there or taking it home to grill yourself ...you'll never be disappointed.

Looking for seafood in Patchogue, Trip Adviser suggested Catch and we weren't disappointed. Tired of calamari with boring marinara sauce. Try their Thai version! Tender pieces, including tentacles perfectly cooked then covered with a sweet and slightly spicy sauce accompanied by crisp apple pieces and walnuts. Outstanding! Their oyster selection is varied with offerings from various sources along the northern east coast. My wife had the baked oysters, large Fire Island Blues with a light sauce. I had the Naked Cowboy and Beach Blonde oysters on the half shell plump and with a mild brine taste. For my hot entree I had the clams casino cherry stones with the traditional toppings. Very tasty. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. It is a small establishment and while seating was quick on a Tuesday, seating might be tight on weekends.

Casual waterfront clam bar.
Great casual alternative for dining on the water. It is perfect for watching the sunset and the water birds. It has a nice selection of seafood burgers and salads at a fairly reasonable price compared to the other waterfront restaurants on Long Island. We were happy to see that they are using paper straws. Foodwise, the everything was fine except that my chicken had the consistency of rubber, but we would still go back for the location.

Nice summery feeling. I ordered the Fire Island Salad which I have ordered many times and loved it. Today, there were tiny shells in the crab salad. The crab salad was not fresh and I was very disappointed. The portion was also a lot smaller than the last time I was here. I have to give it a 5 for atmosphere but a 2 or 3 for food quality. Service is great!

Sushi Bar & Lounge
I just happened to find this restaurant. Even though it was a little expensive, it was worth the expense. The ambiance was nice. The food was great. My ramen was served hot. The service was friendly. Street parking and lot were available.

I REALLY want to like this place but the food is just ok. This was mine & my Husbandâs 2nd time here (didnât review the 1st time which was ok). Let me start by saying the atmosphere is so nice. Itâs right on the water within a marina. There are always a lot of regulars here at the bar and eating. We got there and were told it would be 25 mins even though we did a call ahead. We each got a beer and 5 mins later our beeper went off. Perfect. We werenât acknowledged for 10 mins after we sat. We ordered the baked clams for an appetizer. They were very good. They donât serve any type of bread basket like most places. I ordered the grilled rib eye steak medium rare. My Husband ordered the whole lobster baked. My steak came medium well so it had to go back. I was brought another one & it was medium. I took it because at this point my Husband was almost done with his lobster. It was a horrible steak. Cooked too well & totally lacked flavor for a $28 steak. Very disappointing. My Husband said his lobster was ok but the corn was hard as a rock & he couldnât eat it.We donât want to give up on this great local place. We will go back & try lunch.

We just had our 40th anniversary dinner at Oar, and we were very happy with our choice. The outside seating was beutiful, and much quieter than inside, and the service was outstnding. All four of us were extremely pleased with our entrees and the entire evening was just right. I especially enjoyed their "special" fries that went with the fish and chips. We'll be back.Thank you so much for celebrating with us! We're thrilled to hear you had a great time with us!

We stopped by for a very late lunch and the place was empty (thought it was closed) but it was open and we were in between the lunch and dinner crowds.Service was great, really welcoming. I had a Blue Point Pumpkin Beer which rocked and the Flounder Sandwich: awesome! My wife had the Cod taco's, there were fantastic. We had a great lunch, price was slightly high for lunch but still we were very happy and totally stuffed. Wonderful meal, highly recommended.

Had lunch here the other day and it was the best fish we had in years. We both had something different and shared half of each, one was Tuna sandwich & other was Lobster Roll. It was excellent, big chucks of lobster on the roll, just over flowing with meat. The tuna was cooked to our liking served on a roll also and was great. The atmosphere was excellent, beautiful pictures on the walls of Long Island beach and light houses. Great place you'll definitely enjoy this restaurant.
