Anexo Praia is in Barra and is a great place to have a sunset cocktail and chill by the sea....Nice outdoor style setting - feet in the sand - with wi-fi and lounge music...attentive waiters as well. I have only eaten here a couple of times - seared tuna with mushrooms was good but mushrooms were too salty...sliders are a good pick. This is the place I would head for sunset then go for dinner in one of the many good restaurants in Barra....

Nami is a gastrobar of Asian Latin American food, located on Geribá Beach, in one of the most beautiful cities in Brazil, Armação de Búzios.
From the wonton tacos to the beef wok dish, this place was fantastic. Cerviche was fresh and delicate. Party of 6 shared plates. Nightly specials were the best. Food came out quickly, service excellent. Reservations not accepted so go early.

We booked at Farinatta off the back of TripAdvisor ratings and it didn't disappoint. Our hotel arranged a taxi for us and I'm glad we didn't try to find it ourselves, as it's tucked away in a residential neighbourhood, behind a wooden gate with no signs. It felt a bit like being invited into a secret supper club. The garden and restaurant interior are small, but felt intimate without diners being on top of each other. In keeping with the mystery, there were no menus. Everyone got the same entrees - a selection of delicious bread and savoury biscuits, accompanied by a variety of tapanades, roasted vegetables and the like. The chef (and in our case, a translator) came out to explain what was available for the main course. It was a little difficult to follow, but in all honesty she had me at osso bucco, one of my favourite dishes. My husband opted for the prawns and linguine. Both were superb. But a few words of warning: there's no menu, so you have no idea what it's costing you (there is a wine list with prices); it's not cheap (with a bottle of wine, dessert and coffees, our bill was about 700BRL): and they only take cash (which we weren't told in advance). I'd still recommend it as a unique dining experience, with excellent food.

We like to explore little restaurants when traveling. So we went to check Taverne 67 and stayed. Service was extra friendly. They made a huge effort to make our experience the best possible. We went with their suggestion of seafood platter and moqueca. They assured us this was enough for a family of 4, and it was. The seafood was fresh and the meal very tasty. We were all very happy.

Rocka is open all year during the day - local products with a Brazilian twist - Fresh from sea, farm and organic garden. In low season Seafood Paella every Sunday.
Canât express what a great place this is!We found Rocka by accident while at Silk next door for the beds but wanted different food. One look at Rockaâs menu and I had a good feeling, then spoke to the manager Ruben who spoke great English (as did all staff, along with all other major European languages) and thankfully he convinced us to dine there. While the menu sounded good, the execution was even better and the service was exceptional and super friendly. Easily the best food Iâve ever had at a beach and one of the most impressive meals Iâve had period, no exaggeration because we returned 2 days later and were just as happy! It was the winter menu, and we had a beautiful scallop tiradito dish, octopus carpaccio, fresh catch of the day and pork belly, and it was a great change from the typical meat & seafood options in town (which were also high quality). Then 2nd trip was fresh oysters, grilled lobster (cooked PERFECTLY) and another fresh catch. Everything just seemed more innovative, beautifully presented, super fresh and high quality. While we were there (August, technically winter) they had FREE sun beds when consuming, great caipirinhas and cocktails. For 2 people drinks, starters, main courses and a shared dessert we paid ~400 R$, which is more than reasonable for food of this quality!Really a big thank you to Ruben, Sebastian, and the whole staff for a great experience that was one of the highlights of our trip! Also to Livia for their social media which you can check out on Instagram: @rocka_buziosHello,First, thank you for your preference! We were very happy that your experience has been so good in our restaurant. We hope to see you soon!Thank you for your rating.Best Regards,

We just passed at Porto da Barra to enjoy the sunset with some drinks, and we supposed to go to Rua Das Pedras for dinner. But we stayed at Casablanca whole night there. It was perfect choice that night. This place is really romantic and organized well to hangout. Every food was really delicious and Gin cocktail was really really perfect. And specially Facundo made us feel comfortable and special. Thank you Facundo and Casablanca â¡Thank you for your review and praise, Michelle! We were very pleased to hear that you chose our restaurant for dinner and enjoy a beautiful evening. Very rewarding to read who loved our food and the gin drink. Facundo was happy with the compliment and sent greetings. We hope to see you again!Best regards,Rodrigo Gomes

Pros: the ambiance is amazing. The decor is amazing. Excellent service. Very nice place and sight overlooking the rua das pedras. But the best part is good - the Nero sepia pasta with shrimp was amazing. The bread also amazing. But the best part was the dessert: cheese pie with green corn gelatto and doce de leite - simply amazing. The price is actually lower than I expected (~r$100 / plate). The pork gyoza for entree also amazing. 10/10Cons: that I can't visit more often because it's in buzios. My favorite restaurant up till now in buzios was bar do Zé, now it's 74. Congrats!Dear Client,We greatly appreciate your review and we are very glad that you had a great experience. Thank you so much for sharing your comment with us and the Trip Advisor community. After eating here for the 6th time, I finally got to writing a review. The restaurant is on the main road, but is tucked behind a beautiful garden. I've tried everything on the menu, minus the Fejoada on Saturdays and ordering the pig special (feeds 6+, which requires 48hrs prep time, so call ahead). Everything I have had has been good. I do not recommend ordering drinks here. Instead, order a bottle of wine or champagne. They do have some good cachacas available, but just drink them straight. I need to mention that the service is very slow. VERY SLOW. Which wouldn't be so bad if you had drinks served promptly. I'll be back again because the food is good and I do want to try her fejoada, as well as the whole pig.
