Usually I do not like to answer questions like "was this the best meal ever?" or so; nevertheless I would say this place was among the top 5 of all places visited by us during the last 12 months.Do not feel discouraged to go to this place because of the banal name or because of the quite simple atmosphere. If you are a real connoisseur you will enjoy from a huge variety of excellently prepared daily dishes (which are also sold to be taken out). We were there because of a hint (received in the local organic-products shop) that we could choose vegan dishes. And we were not disappointed. Actually we were overwhelmed by the quality and innovativeness demonstrated by the young chef and his team. We chose from the vegan menu (for example "rotolo con spinaci e asparagi bianchi saltato in marmellata di cipolle rosse fatta in casa") but I also could not resist to choose another dish from the seafood menu (for example "gnocchi di patate con capesante e funghi Shiitake brasati all'erba cipollina"). How innovative!I wonder about the future career of this chef. Let's wait and see ...

its unbelievable that one can find places like this in a small italian village .all nice and proper white linen to enjoy your meal.and then the surprise specially with the fish disses one better than the other and so many of them.trust the chefs suggestions but ask for the menu card to check prices rather on the exp side

Trovato per caso, incuriositi dalla telefonata con il titolare, ci presentiamo in questo ristorante. Solo noi, il nostro cane ed il proprietario tuttofare. Beh oltre al cibo ottimo ed un prezzo onesto, ci siamo trovati a trascorrere una serata tra amici, chiacchiere buon vino e tante risate. Grazie di tutto e ci rivedremo sicuramente.

Il ristorante è situato vicino all' argine destro del Po, tranquillo abbastanza grande ma pargheggio piccolo, il servizio è stato disponibili e veloce, gli antipasti erano le uniche cose buone e decenti che ho gradito, per il resto insomma ..una delusione i tortelli di pesce troppo pomodoro e poi il formaggio sul pesce nn ci vuole !!!!! il pesce..le sogliole e la grigliata di crostacei nulla di speciale.Ma quello che mi ha dato fastidio sono stati l euro e cinquanta che nn sono stati tolti dal conto dopo aver pagato il conto...una cifra considerevole e di nn aver offerto nemmeno l' ammazza caffè... fateci una pensata per le prossime volte .

If you are in the area or even if you are not and want an excellent meal at very reasonable prices this is the place to go. I have taken a number of guests there and they have all raved about it. La Svolta would not be out of place in a large city such as London or Toronto. The food is very fresh, well selected and well presented. I have eaten in the restaurant a number of times and have never been disappointed. Go for the mixed antipasto, which is truly excellent.

Capitati per caso, locale molto grande, arredamento moderno, personale gentile ed allegro, servizio rapido. Frittura di pesce abbondante, ottima cottura e di buona qualità , un contorno, mezzo vino fermo, acqua minerale, un amaro. Conto 44 euro. Può andare.

It was a few years, if not almost a decade, that I didn't go to this restaurant. I brought my grandpa who's 97 there for lunch and they treat us great. The service and food are amazing as always and the location has been upgraded with a very nice patio. Grazie mille!

The food was remarkable, the service impeccable and meeting the three generationsthat run this restaurant memorable. Our Italian is limited but we were able to organize a 3 hour luncheon that was just fantastic. We are adventuresome and tried everything from whole little fried shrimp, fish roe burrata, whole grilled eel, cuttlefish risotto to homemade pastas. The wine was tremendous and believe it or not the breadsticks were the best we have ever had. Homemade desserts and espresso ended a memorable meal. We arrived at 1:30 and departed at 4:30 after touring the nearby Pomposa Abbey which is an underrated tourist attraction. Go and enjoy.

The food is good and the menu is very varied, including seafood, meat dishes, etc. The service is good, although the ambient is a bit cool. A good location, right on the main road between Venice and Ravenna.

We were taken to this wonderful gem by some local friends. We had the freshest seafood we've ever had. The chef was chef at night, fisherman in the morning! The razor clams were delicious. The seafood pasta with tomato sauce was incredible. While I wish I was able to name dishes for you, there really is no need. This is the type of place where you go and let the chef send out whatever magic he's created that day!
