Lovely location looking out on the boats in the harbour. The biggest glass of red wine I have ever been given in a restaurant. Lovely wine and only â¬3. It must have been half a bottle! The food was also good. Calamari starter was a slightly small portion but the the octopus was good. There are several specials and I went for the sea bass which was very tasty. Husband had the swordfish which was also good. Two sons had burger and chicken souvlaki and both happy with theirs as well. All in all a good meal and we would go again.

After a most enjoyable time on a boat on a voyage to the blue lagoon in Lachi we were looking forward to seal it up with a good lunch. Unfortunately We followed a local recommendation and went to this restaurant. What a disappointment.Bad food and very poor service.

About one hundred years ago, standing at the entrance of the fishing harbor like a guardian angel, our motel was offering genuine hospitality to the tired fishermen as well as many other travelers or businessmen happen to be away from their home in Latchi
It is possible to have an average or bad meal on holiday but things are compounded by the desire of a restaurant to actually take us for fools. Red wine - watered down. Yes, a glass of house red was WATERED downGrilled octopus was, well, not grilled, not fresh and cold, doused in some entirely approximate dressing. I expected octopus off a hot charcoal grill as promised. Bread so stale they toasted it and doused it in olive oil. The calamari was acceptable. The worst kind of tourist abusing place that should be avoided at all costs.

We stopped at this restaurant on our walk from Polis to Latchi. It was a nice location with views over the harbour. The welcome was inviting and the lunch menu had plenty of choice. The food was tasty and well presented with ample portions.

Monday night dinner looking out to sea. Greeted by friendly waiter. Ordered calamari to share/ start. Pleasantly surprised. Hot tasty dish. Had chicken and pork souvlaki to follow ( ordered after we had eaten our starter! You get them overlapping if you don't!!). Well cooked. Chips could have been cooked a little more. Served on a wooden block which I don't particularly like. However a good meal overall. Staff friendly unhurried and not in your face. No carafes of wine here so expensive bottle or â¬4 a glass!. Had 2 glasses plus large beer. â¬44 total cost. Will return as lovely setting, great service reasonable food.

Arsinoe Fish Tavern is located in the centre of Polis, just opposite the small church of Agios Nikolaos. For almost 30 years, our family does their very best to make you enjoy an unforgettable evening being our guests! From the beginning, it was our aim t
We read various reviews and thought this restaurant sounded good. Very disappointed with the quality of the fish. All small fish that was deep fried and soggy apart from the swordfish wish was nice. Prawns over cooked, crab in bread crumbs was from frozen pack, calamari was tough and tasteless. When asked how we enjoyed our meal we said we didnât the owner just ignored our comment and asked for the money. Wonât be go back.
