We had an excellent meal at Fins, couldnât fault the staff or the service they gave. We had starters and mains and each one was delicious. The view over the beach was stunning, the atmosphere relaxed and we had a thoroughly lovely evening. Weâve eaten at some of the other local restaurants but this one is now our new favourite!

A group of us went to enjoy the carvery, but as we had a vegan with us, I spoke to Simon beforehand and asked if they could organise food for her. They could not have been more helpful. Ironically she had her best vegan meal during her visit to a carvery. Not only did they do a delicious nutroast for her, but they also did her vegetables separately and prepared a "gravy" of basil and tomato. Meanwhile we enjoyed an excellent meal with a choice of 3 meats, beef, lamb or pork, with a varied assortment of vegetables. There is a delicious couvert of home made bread, tapenade etc.If you have an special dietary requirements and contact them beforehand they will try to accommodate you. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. A very enjoyable lunch was had by all.The only downside is the price of the drinks.Dear Shrillyd - It was a pleasure having your group with us at Solar Do Poeta. I went to Sandbanks for the first time the other day, and I really loved this restaurant. It´s a bit more upmarket than the usual beach restaurants, but not a pretentious eatery either. There is a relaxed, casual and familiar atmosphere here. Location is an important plus, just at the beachfront, it´s a vast open space full of sunlight and fresh breeze everywhere, everything is very clean and decorated in light colours. Staff is young, friendly and efficient. Dishes have an original and attractive presentation. Food is delicious, due to its quality and its good preparation: it offers an original mixture of elements and soft flavours, I guess due to the good use of species. They aren´t the usual dishes you find everywhere. Generous quantities, but not as big as they usually have in Portugal: ordering just a dish will make most people feel satisfied. Desserts are nice and well presented too. Prices are average or just a bit over that. I admit I was expecting for something more expensive due to its location and proximity to a luxury hotel, but the bill was a nice final surprise. Izzyâs has long been a real favourite of ours and since Rory returned last year it certainly hasnât disappointed. We always get an amazing welcome from all of the staff and on our four visits this year we had fabulous food, service and ambiance! Their sea bass with their special lemon and garlic sauce is fantastic and another favourite is the tiger prawns. Not to be missed. Thank you to everyone there for looking after us so well. Incredible steak and clearly labelled menu. This was a stop off for us on the way from the airport to the resort. We have visited before and were hopeful that the level of service and quality would have been maintained and indeed it was. We had a steak on the stone and a salmon fillet, both cooked to perfection. The staff were attentive yet gave us space to enjoy our meal. Thoroughly recommend.

If it is fish you like then this is the best place to eat in on the Algarve! Not that the restaurant does not serve lovely meat and fowl dishes also.The convert choices are superb- almost a meal in themselves. Certainly you wonât need a starter if you have two or three of the couverture dishes on offer! The owner has a wine wholesale and retail business so you can expect an extensive wine list which is reasonably pricedLaura,Delsio and the rest of the staff are friendliness personified.Children are welcome as one would expect in a Portugese owned place.However the restaurant is not a bad place to go with your spouse,partner or lover- who may be one and the same person Enjoy a truly lovely meal at a reasonable price.

We just loved this place! Everything on the menu looked so good. The ingenious part is that you can order half portions so we got to try everything! The ceviche was the best I have ever tried and the flavors were so interesting. I wanted to drink the marinade it was so good! We also ordered the fish and chips, steak, duck, all prepared to perfection. Even the drinks were fantastic and they make a delectable passion fruit mojito. They were very accommodating on my gluten free restrictions and highlighted an entire menu so I knew what I could eat.
