We visited Maggazino N.4 twice now, both time taking visitors. The style and quality of the restaurant is so unexpected in the small town of Morciano. Almost Morciano meets Manhattan! Everything we have eaten has been excellent - the antipasti, the primi and secondi. We are yet to try dolce, but they do look amazing. And the service is excellent, very friendly and professional. Plus excellent value for money. We will be back soon.

After having read other trip advisor reviews and as the restaurant states that it offers gluten free options we decided to give it a try. The restaurant was not well equipped at all and had very limited choice. I had to leave the table and go back to my b&b room (5 min away) to get some GF crackers. All in all I would not recommend it.

"Il Castello di Momo" is a tipical restaurant in the heart of Salento, an amazing experience to enjoy. Our restaurant is located in Capece family's baronial court (1400) where you can breathe the magic atmosphere of history. Our food is a mix of genuine a
Food was perfect, The first restaurant in Italy where the service is actually good. The main waiters spoke English and translated the menu to English which was very nice. The servers were kind. Overall I would say in terms of service this is one of the best places in Salento. The food, especially antipasto for 2 was amazing.

This family run place is above expectations in all aspects. The details are authentic and talking quality, let it be about the outstanding food made by chef Mauro, the attentive service or the decoration dressed by the owner's wife. Worth to visit if you are in Puglia!

The restaurant of delicacies the culinary tradition of salento seems designed to satisfy the most varied tastes at all times of the year, in different seasons, to cheer every situation. Ristorante pub con cucina tipica salentina . Ampia scelta di vini del
We ate there one evening, we took some fried calamari, burrata with jam, straccetti di manzo. The stracetti were very good the fried calamari very salty and not fresh, the burrata average. The big minus for me was the smell from the kitchen very present in the restaurant, practically all our clothes were smelling like fried oil when we left.

A small restaurant on the corner of the main street of Tiggiano, a small town about 13km north of Leuca. The dining room is spacious and cool and perfectly in style for this part of the world. From the antipasti to the spaghetti with seafood, through to the main course and dessert, you could not ask for more. An excellent selection of local wines at bargain prices. The seafood is as fresh as it gets. Prices are more than reasonable considering the quality you are offered. The service is rapid and friendly and I can't wait to return.

What a meal we had at this little trattoria! Located in the town of Alessano, on the Piazza del Castello, this little gem knocked our socks of. Our party of eight enjoyed dish after dish of antipasti. Everything from sea and land was delicious. The variety of vegetables was amazing and they were all prepared in different ways. The grains (couscous , faro, quinoa) all superb. The seafood platters were fresh and tasty. For main courses we had a variety of pastas. My orecchiette with shrimp and zucchini were delish. The house specialty of gnocchi with shrimp and figs was unique, if maybe a touch on the bland side. Desserts were good but not spectacular. The crema Catalana was a nice take on crème brûlée and was served still flaming. I'm looking forward to another trip to da eleonora in the future.

My family and I visited Masseria Galatea for our Easter Monday lunch and we enjoyed a fantastic menu made out of local and fresh food produced directly by the owners. It was a fixed menu. The starters were abundant, we had a mixed of small portions of local dishes like roasted peppers, fava bean pure, aubergine parmigiana, local potato croquettes and potato pitta. Our first main was home made pasta with mixed vegetables and our second main was poultry cooked with herbs and bacon or a meat stew.Everything ended with puff pastry covered with cream and strawberries! Simply delicious!! I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. Staff and owners were professional and very friendly!

We selected this restaurant based on the nice location and good reviews. We were pleasantly surprised by the way our waiter explained the menu in perfect English. The food was exciting: bold combinations of flavours that we've never had before. The octopus with parmezan and melon and the gnochi were marvelous. Nice pasta and lovely desserts di mama. Great service and all for a very fair price. Keep it going guys, hope your restaurant will be very succesful!Dear guests,it was great pleasure to meet you at our restaurant! We've eaten here two times, both at lunch. Although called self-service, the food you choose at the counter/buffet is served by the assistants. We found the food pretty good especially the greens and the polpettone with eggplant. Seafood risotto was ok and abundant but would have preferred less quantity but better rice quality, eg. Carnaroli or Vialone nano. They offer to re-heat some dishes at the microwave which we think is not healthy (we would rather have lukewarm food). Both times we had a small bottle of wine but only the first time were offered proper glasses, meaning we had to drink the wine from a plastic glass, like at an outdoor picnic. The setting is very basic without tablecloth of any kind and the venue was cold, not heated at all. Prices are honest.
