Fusion restaurant facing the beautiful lagoon of Flic En Flac, experience our kitchen and our modern design atmosphere.
We travelled from Albion twice in a week to eat here because we loved the food and the atmosphere; service and food was very good even when they had a problem with their electricity one evening.Duck, swordfish, mussels and red snapper (quite bony) all very good. Creamed spinach to die for.

Modern italian restaurant in the heart of Flic en Flac, right next to the beach. Supervised by one of our best Mauritian chef with experience from the US, France, The Oceania Cruise Line We have everything for your taste here, from various kind of unique
We arrived in Mauritius after 23 Hours of travel from Australia. We were exhausted and there was no accurate map of the island available. We were hopelessly lost, driving a hire car, dark and raining and could not find our accommodation. We stopped at this restaurant to ask for directions. Well, we never expected the kindness we received from Dylan! He jumped in our car and took us to our villa with only a request for us to return him to work. We subsequently ate there 3 times and every meal is delicious. Recommend the tuna carpaccio, and the beef is nice too. As an Aussie, the pizzas were ok. Order the stuff that needs someone who can cook. You wonât be sorry.

We were fortunate to get a table without a reservation when we decided to visit Rib & Reef, securing the only one available at the time. People arriving soon after us were turned away so reservations are recommended. We came especially for the seafood platter - and we weren't dissapointed. The platter was enough for two of us along with a side of fries. It consisted of crayfish, prawns, mussels and white fish . All fresh and very tasty, but unfortunately our fries didn't come out with the food. The restuarant was incredibly busy and service reflected the fact. It was still a very enjoyable meal and I also enjoyed one of the speciality cocktails.

Sat on the decked gazebo. This huge and clean restaurant is an amazing setting for an evening dinner under the lights. The food we had was excellent. A lovely evening with good service.

We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of trip advisor review. We were not disappointed.....we went there again and again. We stayed at the Sofitel in Flic en Flac. We dined at the Hilton and at Sugar Beach as well as the Sofitel.However....we found the food at The Creole Shack the best value for money.Good home cooked food run by a mother and daughter. If you are looking for frills....this is not the place. If you are looking for food that the people of Mauritius eat daily....this is the place....great value for money. We will definitely be back.

Great atmosphere and excellent family restaurant. Great starter of calamari and then had the lamb shank with mash. Good well presented and tasty food. The three owners were very professional and all acted as waiters and servers. live music on Saturday night. Recommended.
