Tickety Booâs is a traditional bar that offers a warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. It boasts a horseshoe-shaped bar and original stained glass windows, but there is nothing traditional about its modern standards. This top performing bar has won awards
Although Tickety Booâs is one of the best-known pubs in the town, it hasnât turned into one of those trendy, nondescript modern bars. This is a smart, traditional, small bar with good service, decent beer and a relaxed atmosphere.Itâs certainly one of the best in town.

A modern style brasserie set in the heart of Dundee. Our menu is focused on Scottish sourced provenance, complimented with a mix of French and Asian inspired cooking styles, Brasserie Ecosse is a place to indulge in great food, champagnes and cocktails in
I can't recommend this place enough. We loved everything about it. The decor is beautifullyvstyllish, the staff are brilliant, professional and friendly. Very attentive without being intrusive. And then there's the food. We opted for the four course Sunday brunch for £20 each. OMG what amazing value for money and the charcuterie buffet table as a starter was outstanding. I was soo full we had to take a breather before our dessert which was a wise choice as the dessert was fantastic. If I could give this restaurant more than 4 stars I would. We will definitely be back.

We recently stopped off at Broughty Ferry with our dog and were looking for somewhere that was 'dog friendly' - did a quick google search and came up with The Ship Inn - not only were we able to take the dog into the lounge and sit down for a proper meal, the food was absolutely excellent and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Can certainly recommend The Ship Inn.Very pleased that you enjoyed your meal and visit to the Ship, however to avoid any misunderstandings I would point out to readers of this review that dogs are only allowed into the bar and not the upstairs restaurant, regards Steve

Milton gets it right again. From super friendly well trained staff to a great atmosphere it's always a pleasure to eat here. We went for Sunday dinner and the roasts are amazing. Delicious fresh food and generous portions. We also had desserts which again are home made and very tasty. Definitely recommend and well done to all staff

Enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at Simpsonâs yesterday morning. The owner Claire was so friendly and gave us such a lovely personal service. The smoothies were so good- super healthy and fresh; and each of us really enjoyed our food. I had the beetroot hummus with avocado and crumbled goats cheese on sourdough; my husband scrambled eggs with halloumi; and the boys both had the âDundee Stackâ which was black pudding with haggis and bacon or sausage with a perfectly poached egg on top. Best coffee since we arrived in Scotland too. All round a top quality breakfast with fantastic service.

Also have supply of gluten free bread and cakes with most soups also gluten free. As for drinks usual coffee and tea options with a variety of milk shakes and cold coffees available. Very friendly staff. Keep up the good work.

Family run nostalgic Tea Room in the heart of Dundee. Warm & friendly environment with home made food and baking on offer. Tea served in china tea cups and coffee complimented by many coffee lovers. Service second to none. Serving traditional homemade sou
Loved this place, old fashioned but stylish 50's/60's retro look, great music from that period, serving very good fresh door-stop sandwiches, soups and ploughman's. Cakes and other sweet treats are many and fresh baked. Their afternoon tea for 2, served to a neighbouring table was fab! All very tempting. Good coffee and soft drinks. Really had fun there, friendly staff, specials board, child friendly.

Nice surroundings with beautiful views over the Tay. Staff were welcoming and attentive. We had the 5 course tasting menu and the first 2 courses were excellent.Beautifully presented and full of flavour. Thereafter the standard deteriorated with wish course being rather tasteless and minute in size. The pork main was for us over cooked and again on the small size. Sweet was OK. On the whole disappointing for the standard of food we were expecting, and certainly not value for money. We would not return
