At the Museum "Giuseppe Olivi" visitors can examine many Adriatic organisms and learn about their characteristics and the typical marine and brackish environments of this area. In each room, descriptive panels and multimedia stations introduce themes concerning the loss of biodiversity, the fragility of ecosystems and the vulnerability of species. These presentations are aimed to provide insights into the relationship between man and sea ecosystems, tradition and innovation in the use of resources, and the future of managing activities. We hope the museum "Giuseppe Olivi" shall contribute to the raising of respect and responsibility towards the sea, an inheritance which, today more than ever, requires a sustainable approach to be managed.

Opened in 2014, this museum is on the site of the first ‘ospedale’. Focus is on history of medicine, here is the birthplace ..., human anatomy and a health and nutrition activity for the younger set. Definitely something for everyone. Don’t miss it! Diana and Winston, tucson AZ USA

The biggest scientific interactive exhibition for kids and adults, families and schools. Everybody can learn with fun!
We had a great morning. It cost €40 for a family of four (2 adults, 2 children aged 10 and 14) and I really didn’t think that it would be value for money... I was completely wrong! There were lots of engaging interactive exhibits, with full explanations in Italian, English and German. Each experiment had hand sanitiser for you to use beside it. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The upstairs area with loads of VR experiences such as watching the Aurora Borealis, skydiving, watching whales under the sea etc was very good too.
