It’s a picture frame on the beach. Makes for a great photo opportunity. The frames are placed so they perfectly frame your shot... And who wouldn’t want beautiful photos of this lovely bustling seaside village.

Recommended, it is a nice walk and it is one hour round trip from the Sofitel Hotel ! Outbound on your right the Island of "Belle ïles" and on the left the Bay of Morbihan !

Place Plumereau is a beautiful and rather picturesque area to visit. It is the centre of the old quarters of Tours and it offers some surprising appeal. The architecture of the buildings is rather interesting and many look quite old, but I am not sure how old they would be! The square is full of cafes and restaurants, and it would be easy to just sit at any of them and enjoy a cup of coffee or a meal. However visitors should really be very careful with their choice!

Good 2 hour walk from the village most of it along the coast. Great views of the mouth of the Moribund and the Islands in the Atlantic. Nice isolated menhir near the point. Unfortunately Walk not suitable for wheelchairs or disabled.

We did not take a tour of the Calanques but instead decided to walk from the town of Cassis to the nearest Calanque, which is at Port-Miou. The walk was a little tiring but gave us an opportunity to see the residential area just outside of the center of Cassis and was a beautiful stroll. However, the real beauty was seeing the boats moored along the dock at Port-Miou. What a sight! The way the waterway is carved out of the surrounding rock is amazing. You can walk down to the docks and see the boats and also walk to the end of the dock and up the hillside to get a beautiful view of the entry into Port-Miou. We thoroughly enjoyed the walk and seeing Port-Miou.
