This tour in downtown Broome on the banks of the very creek where Broome's shell and pearl industry was founded is an absolutely must do! We had a 90 minute tour led by "Stewy" who was enthusiastic, witty and knowledgeable. The museum of early-day pearl diving equipment was eye-opening (so dangerous, why would anyone do it) and the video clips from 100+ years ago were amazing. This is a really great tour - do it.

South Goulburn caravan park wonderful friendly place to stay. Pet friendly and close to everything needed for overnight stay. Owners were very accommodating and helped us with our stay, the pet friendly cabin was very clean and our feline fur baby sure appreciated the journey being made into shorter runs instead of one long journey. We will definitely be staying here again whether we are traveling with or without our fur baby. Thank you so much .. ;)

The sun was shining, it was a beautiful day when we embarked on our first time to do the famous 'Spit to Manly' hike/walk even though we are Sydney-siders. We were not disappointed and now that we've done it, we'll be doing it again! It was good to be introduced to this walk by the experienced EmuTrekkers volunteers. They met us outside Wynyard Station where we caught the bus to the Spit Bridge. We then walked over the bridge and then the adventure began where we walked under it and got off the road on a trail walk from there on till we reached Manly. The path was well laid out. It was such a beautiful, picturesque walk. I couldn't stop remarking how scenic and colourful it was. This is what makes Sydney so special and you have to walk it to get the most out of it. A car ride is no comparison. We saw native lizards and plants which were all pointed out by our volunteer hosts. We had a nice chat on the way discussing whatever came into our heads. It was very pleasant and relaxed. We stopped for lunch at Clontarf Beach Reserve at a picnic table and ate our brought lunch. There were a couple of lookouts and many photo opportunities and we weren't rushed. I'd recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see the best Sydney has to offer in natural sights including harbour views with ferries and yachts. It was a 10km hike and walk with some steps so you need a moderate level of fitness. One or two 600ml bottles of water were enough for me. If you like seeing picturesque sights and nature, you will really love this tour.
