Beer is expensive in Sweden, so I decided I might as well try something nice! Great range of craft beers on tap and a selection of bottles in the fridge. Also a very relaxed atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

Le Parc serves food that stands out among the restaurants in Uppsala; the dishes are obviously designed and prepared by people interested and enthusiastic about what they're doing. The menu offers a variety of principally Swedish cuisine and both times I have eaten here I have been pleasantly surprised. The setting in a small green area just off the center of town is perfect for a little restaurant like this.

We have re-visited Hava Skafferi § Salonger during this summer, coming here several times for lunch. We tasted various fish dishes and they were excellent. For example, today the oven-baked pollock with fennel, pickled carrots, white wine sauce and boiled potatoes was very gently prepared and delicious. It was pleasant to sit in the garden, enjoying the fresh air and the gentle Swedish summer weather. The staff was very polite, the prices affordable. After five visits we came to the conclusion that Hava Skafferi § Salonger is one of the best restaurants in Uppsala, both for lunch and for dinner.

Situated in the impressive former YMCA-building this restaurant has a potential. We visited for a lunch which had its ups and downs. The so called sallad table was very sparse but the bread was good. Main course meat was tasty as well as salad of the day. A clear drawback was the music. I would descibe it as a clear disturbance in the communication. Lower the amplifier, please. We are happy that you enjoyed your courses at Borgen. The sallad table consists of fresh baked bread, crispbread, green sallad, dressing, cabbage sallad, marinated kalamata olives, and beansallad. Hopefully this is quite enough for our lunchguests. If we would add more to the salad table, then the guests would settle with only this for lunch. Considering the loud music, we apologize for this and we will definitly lower it. Thank you for your feedback! It is a great help for us to improve our services and make Borgen a restaurant that our guests gladly returns to!

I have been here both for lunch and dinner. Thereâs really nothing special about this place than the place itself which is super cozy. But the food is average tasting food & the price is really overrated. The service is really bad too. Two guys who worked there during lunch were so bad in their attitude that I never returned. They were super nonchalant. The place has a name since long time. Thatâs the only thing to it. Donât waste your money going here. There are other nicer places in Uppsala.

Prequel: When not traveling; Iâm meeting with friends because of a Brunch Club weâve set up (#UppsalaBrunchClub) and this time I was responsible for the planning..Since hearing such amazing things about Villa Anna I wondered if they had brunch - which they did not. However - they do offer afternoon tea which is what it sounds like; afternoon tea in an amazing environment and so much goodies it didnât even fit on the table for the Instagram photo!Since itâs an upscale boutique hotel I had an idea theyâd be snotty but oh no! Best Customer Service ever received in Uppsala! Each and everyone is truly an asset for the place and a gem for you as a client! Now all I want to do; is to have their gourmet menu there and spend the night!

A bit of the beaten path close to the Railway station, and Elite Hotel Academia, in an old-fashioned brick-building. A warm and welcoming atmosphere. Traditional cousin including fish, meat and veggie alternatives, entrées, main and desserts. An efficient menu and good selection of wines, drinks etc.Perhaps not the same air of surprise and new style as when Saffet Caglar owned the place but the selection of restaurants is much richer today. A safe choice and a classic restaurant. (Probably the nicest restrooms around;-).)

Nice upscale fish restaurant near center of town. Service was prompt and professional. I had smoked salmon for starter and really enjoyed it. Came with fresh horseradish and sour cream. For entree I had the boulibase (not sure how to spell it). The broth was excellent but overall it was too large and I couldn't finish. Generous portion of different seafood. Would definitely return.

My wife found this restaurant when searching for somewhere for us to eat on TripAdviser. We wanted something a little different and that's exactly what we found in 60 Kvadrat. Down a narrow cobbled street this is a small restaurant where the owner almost completes every task himself. His service is spot on and the food he creates is so tasty. A small menu keeps it simple, we both tried the Beetroot salad, delicious, my wife chose Cockerel and I the Cod, both full of different tastes. The highlight was the Lemon Mousse to finish, so many different tastes coming through, probably the best sweet I've tasted and I've tasted many over the years. If you are in town give this restaurant a try, it's different, it's charming and it's great value.

New, small, charming and EXCELLENT. The menu is created after the choice of wines and this changes every week. The best whole in the wall there is - and with super cross-country cooking with focus on local an ecological ingredients.
This is fine dining. Carefully selected wines are combined with attractive, well prepared dishes. You have a choice between a three course and a five course menu. Everything tasted delicious and the service was fine. There is ample room between the tables, so you are not disturbed by other companies. Since the restaurant is small, you should book ahead.
