In piazzetta di di Piscina Rey
We were really hungry when we got to this place. We ordered pasta, as we already had enough pizzas this week. The portions were very small. Food was OK. The service personnel didn't make the friendliest impression.

La Bottega Paneevino. A shop a few steps from the sea, unique in its kind for the quality and the delicious specialties prepared in strict respect of tradition and authenticity, the result of a selection of products made with the utmost accuracy and compe
Came here for lunch on TA recommendation. Touristy nature of area made me wary, but thrilled to have sat down at this great little place. Enough shade even in the hot midday sun. Attentive, friendly but low-key service, laid-back music. I had delicious mussels au gratin, panna cotta with forest fruit. With beer and coffee it came to â¬20. Body and mind relaxed with a treat for the tastebuds.... canât be bad!

spent a night in one of the self catering apartments in october 2014. Unusually for sardinia, lovely architecture absolutely spotless accommodation and everything worked! the restaurant was closed so we ate at the lovely Quercia restaurant. You could cycle or short drive to the beach from here. Owners kindly let us have the rooms until 5pm so we could come back from beach and shower before leaving. They will have wi-fi by next year, they say - great place for a really truly relaxing stay in vineyards, mountains & sea

Went there with my family, lovely pizzas and great gelato desserts. The waiters were friendly and very chatty, and several even spoke reasonable English. We enjoyed our meal with a pleasant atmosphere, and felt like we were valued customers, as opposed to being rammed into an already full restaurant (as we have at a couple of others in the area). Would recommend to any visiting the area for dinner or just a bite to eat.

The service was good and the waitor spoke good english. He was quick to offer suggestions as to what we should try. We ordered the triple starters & mains and they gave us 3 smaller portions of starter & main to try.

An highly enjoyable evening and unlike other Agriturismos we were not swamped with too much food. It was good to eat a few things that we wouldnât have considered ordering so good to try new things and the local wine was good (and plentiful)Recommended

Been there for dinner, it took some time to get the menus and few couples arrived after us got them before us. Except for that, then the service was fine. We had starter bottarga with ricotta cheese and raw fennel. Not interesting and flavours do not really match. The positive was a lot of bottarga that I really like. We ordered spaghetti with vongole and bottarga and spaghetti with prawns. They were ok, prawns very good, a generous portion of grated bottarga with clams, but definitely too oily and please do not put parsley leaves on top of the spaghetti like in the cheap touristic restaurants. Then grilled octopus, that was overall well presented and good, just maybe some parts a little chewy.I was expecting more from this restaurant.Maybe a secondary issue but I had an Ichnusa beer and found out it was 33cl whilst in all the other restaurants I went in costa rei, was the 50cl for the same price, as far as I recall it was not specified in the menu. Overall it was not bad but I am not sure I will give them a second chance shall I ever go back to costa rei.

Ambience of the place very intimate so great for couples celebrating; there is a play area for toddlers so it's also great for families. Sit inside or outside on the garden patio, your choice; we preferred inside to avoid cigarette smoke. Food fascinating and portions quite big. As the name suggests, there is a predominance of fish/seafood dishes. This is family run and it shows - the team work well together both front of house and in the kitchen. Staff unfailingly friendly and helpful.

It was my first time in Sardinia and I came here with my family. I tried something new to me but very popular over there (a horse meat burger!) And it was absolutly amazing! The food was very fresh and everyone working there was so welcoming. If you are ever in the area I highly recommend Yumbeer, I will definitely go there again when I next visit Sardinia.
