Full Gospel Tabernacle

TURN OFF YOUR CELLPHONES when you’re in a church, people. They went off three times - and one clueless lady just let her tropical ringtone keep going... amplified with church acoustics. So disrespectful. The service we attended was very joyous in tone (no homophobic messages) and warm and welcoming to outside visitors. The band - with guitar, bass, drums, organ and piano - is amazing. One of the female solo singers was a great blues/soul singer. My husband and I are musicians and not particularly religious. Al Green was in really good spirits until the cell phones. But be prepared that 1) the service can take 2.5 hours and you can’t get up and leave, there’s no break (but we thought the time flew by.) 2) do NOT use flash photography and maybe just try to be in the moment and don’t photograph at all. 3) this is a Sunday sermon for the local parish where local events will be addressed - the focus is not to be a tourist attraction. 4) other pastors will be leading the service for the first half before Al Green begins to talk (and sing!) Show respect, set aside ample time, turn off your phones, and have a really cool and uplifting experience.

Bellevue Baptist Church

I'd like to address a very negative review that was highlighted by Trip Advisor, that doesn't give an accurate view of our church. I've been and active member of Bellevue for well over 10+ years, so I speak with first hand experience of whats really going on. First off, we are so blessed to have a number of wonderful Pastors at Bellevue, so several lead Wednesday night worship classes, while others lead various classes around the church. In addition to this Bellevue offers life solutions groups on Wednesday evenings for those hurting and offers Biblical counseling free of charge even to non-members! Our Senior Pastor is very active in many activities in and around our church, and our community. He also spends many hours in the presence of the Lord and preparing his sermons, which is obvious when you measure his sermons to the truth of God's word. Brother Steve brings powerful sermons twice on Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings and due to covid, they have added a Saturday evening service. So come join us and see for yourself. We would love to have you and hope you will feel right at home. There are tons of places to plug in and find your place to serve Jesus! God Bless.... Love God, Love People, Share Jesus and Make Disciples.

St. Mary's Catholic Church

Reviewed By BettyS1785

Open the doors of St.Mary's and one encounters the presence of God. As a child growing up my daily/weekly attendance was at Holy Names, but, Christmas we would walk to attend St.Mary's midnight Mass. Wow! I love this church and the memories of LOVE that I have encountered there. Our wedding was held there and our walk down to my beloved Grotto to say our first Marriage prayer together bound us for 61 1/2 years. Although we moved from Memphis in 1971 every trip back home would not be complete until we attended Mass at St. Mary's. I truly wish all could experience the beauty of this small church....walk around inside and devour it's beauty, you will not be disappointed.
