Church from the 17th century with its notable San Michele statue and splendid antique ceramic floor.
This 18th century Baroque church has an amazing majolica floor mosaic depicting the original sin and paradise filled with animals and dating to 1761. An incredible monument to see.

This lovely little building houses a rather excellent exhibition of photographs by RAFFAELE CELENTANO which is well worth a look. Also when I went in July 2019 there was an exhibition on SOPHIA LOREN. Great views from the balcony AND a swing - try it out!

This cathedral can be easily found whilst walking around the quaint town of Sorrento. The architecture is stunning and the painted ceiling is beautiful. The inlaid marquetry door is lovely. So much character and the atmosphere is so peaceful and tranquil. It really is a beautiful special place. There is no admission charge

Though the church is beautiful and imposing, what I found most rewarding was visiting the tomb of Blessed Bartolo Longo which is in a chapel accessed through the side of the sanctuary.

Situated in the Forum. I understood more fully how the forum was composed. With Temple at one end flanked by stores and other temples.
