Time seems to stand still there. Six times a day the mighty bells toll and invite you to come and pray. Walking around the campus and down the entrance road along the Stations of the Cross. Enjoying the coffee shop ("the Press") and gift shop is an option, as well as just to sit and enjoy the changing scenery during the day. We had a room facing the bell tower (as requested) to not lose the purpose of your visit.

Visit the beautiful temple grounds, gardens and Visitors' Center located on 10 acres near the intersection of I-5 and Hwy 217. Open daily from 9am to 9pm. The Center offers exhibits and information about faith, temples, the importance of families, and other religious values of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Children, accompanied by adults, are also welcome and can enjoy interactive displays and activities about the temple grounds and Center.
Wonderfully welcoming, with a peaceful feeling that is hard to find any other place. Informative, interesting and enlightening things to learn. Wonderful guides to assist, movies to watch, interactive displays, and beautiful artwork and grounds. Worth the time to visit, COMPLETELY ENJOYABLE.

An internationally renowned Catholic sanctuary set among 62 acres of botanical gardens, offering a place of peace and quiet reflection for all people. More than 100 beautiful statues, reflection ponds, and views offer inspiration to all who visit.
Beautiful trilliums are absolutely everywhere, along with every other beautiful flower you can think of. There is a abundance of peaceful places to sit and think, including many catholic sculptures and little cutesy ponds. When I went it was almost empty, I ran into very few people in the upper garden. The admission price is low and I think the price is well worth seeing these upper gardens, as the whole grounds are well maintained and manicured to perfection. The lower trail and grotto are also beautiful and serene, and the little chapel always has it's doors open if you wish to venture in.
