Hire Bali Driver “Madeé” Made it happen again. He picked us up at 7am from our hotel “bliss spa Ubud “ and arrived at this destination by 9am. The temples of Mount Lempuyang, represented by the highest pura at the peak of Mount Lempuyang, Pura Lempuyang Luhur, is one of the Sad Kahyangan Jagad, or the "six sanctuaries of the world", the six holiest places of worship on Bali. Remember to bring a sarong and ladies shoulders should be covered. A must see and experience.

Besakih Temple

Over a thousand years old, Besakih Temple is known as the "Mother Temple of Bali". Perched on the slopes of Mount Agung, at a lofty 1000 metres (3000 feet)Pura Besakih is the paramount Hindu temple on Bali. Located high on the slopes of the volcano Mt. Agung, it has developed over more than a thousand years into a great complex of 22 separate temples, the largest and central being Pura Penataran Agung. The annual cycle of more than 70 rituals, which symbolically link the temples into a whole, culminates in the centenary ceremony called Ekadasa Rudra, last held in 1979. The temple complex, state-supported since the 15th century, has undergone a series of architectural and ritual changes.

It was an amazing road trip to the temple. It was special to me because im the only one who was with my tour guide and he really nice Balinese.and when we reach the temple he took me a lots of photos. The biggest temple i Bali or locals called it the “MOTHER OF ALL TEMPLES IN BALI” I would highly recommend to visit this when you visiting the islands.
