Puthia Temple Complex

Reviewed By dmittleman - Palm Beach Gardens, United States

Perhaps the most concentrated assemblage of temples and palaces in Bangladesh, this complex does not disappoint. Yes, massive restoration is needed. Yes, there is garbage everywhere. But this doesn't impact upon the sheer beauty of so many monuments. Make sure you take a guide with you. They can open up locked temples and bring you to places that just aren't in guide books.

Chhoto Sona Mosque

Reviewed By Kazi_Ziauddin - Dhaka City, Bangladesh

An awesome historical place to visit. The design, pattern and build quality with thick wall (around 6 feet) is very soothing for eyes and mind. Even after 400 years it never seemed like an antique product but a well planned recent structure. A must see archeological site to visit at Chapai Nababgonj district of Rajshahi division of Bangladesh.

My experience is in bandarban is out-of-this-world, it’s so diverse & cosmopolitan mountain area with 13 various ethnic group with different in clothing, culture & religions. every time when I go there it’s like an new place because there’s so many places in bandarban, it’s the most remote area in Bangladesh & thanchi upazila is more remote with 1000 sq km area population only 25,000 & density is 28 persons per square kilometre. There’s soo many waterfalls, mountains, creeks, streams, not mention in the tourist guides because most of the people don’t even know it exists. Buddha Dhatu jadi is one of the germs of the area. Its a beautiful area.

Khan Mohammad Mridha Mosque

Reviewed By 497nadima

In my point of view, One of the the most spectacular and ancient mosques situated near lalbagh fort. I visited /traveled and performed Salah (Asar). However, it convinced me to understand the culture and Islamic architectural beauty of central Dhaka (Now & Then). It stands as the witness of the history. I did some research and viewed the reviews of this Mosque in tripadvisor before outing. Thank you trip advisor. I enjoyed ????????????
