Pretty rich menu considering that the restaurant is a transit one, situated on the road to the capital of the county. Nice, impersonal service.

We arrived at the restaurant probably before closing time because it was empty and the staff didn't pay much attention to us at first. They sat us down and give us the menus straight away. We decided quickly what to eat and the lady was kind enough to understand we were starving. The food came out quickly and the portions were huge. We had cheese, polenta, trout and desserts and both me and my friend were very pleased and full. The service itself was nothing special, with waitresses chewing some food while serving. If you have no expectations you won't be disappointed at all. A nice surprise. Do not pay attention to the other Italian review. We are Italians ourselves and we know that the first rule is never eating Italian food outside Italy: Dai zio, gli spaghetti alla milanese, ma sei serio?Only one thing: they charged us for the bread when we didn't even ask for it. We didn't argue since it wasn't even 2lei.

The restaurant is located inside the Pension EDY.It's very cozy. The menu is Romanian and Hungarian. We ordered two kind of soups: a goulash soup which was rich flavorful just delicious. The other soup was a meat ball soup, which was creamy and tasteful. For the main course we ordered a special pork stew in brown sauce served with mashed potatoes. We also ate vegetables salad that was very fresh.Delicious food in pretty cheap cost.

We had passed Pensiunea Casa Moteasca before, on the way back from the Aries Valley, to Cluj-Napoca, had not have time to stop, but registered fleetingly that it looked quite rustic and charming. This time it was a late Saturday afternoon, we were hungry and did not want to wait until Turda or Cluj-Napoca, so we stopped. Our impression had been correct. It's a complex of discreet wood-framed buildings set in a large and neatly landscaped garden, with a swimming pool at the back and what looks like an equestrian centre. There's a variety of places to eat, including a non-smoking indoor dining room; we chose the rear terrace, which is pleasantly furnished with wooden tables and benches. The menu is similar to that of most Romanian rural pensions. We chose the ciorba moteasca (clear soup with vegetables, pork and sausages), the sauted mushrooms and the baked potatoes stuffed with cheese. The food was good and honest, the service was friendly if a bit slow, and the prices were affordable. The crocheted table napkins were a nice touch. My only complaint: they had no dark beer, and no non-alcoholic beer for the driver. All in all, this is the nicest place to stop for a snack or a lunch between Turda and the Aries Valley.

A többi húst is meleg szívvel tudom ajánlani mindenkinek.

My sister and I were advised to organize my father's 90th birthday party at this restaurant. And the experience was great. To begin with, Marcela Popa helped us with the menu selection and the party arrangements. She was present for the entire duration of the preparations and during the party to ensure that all aspects were taken care of.The room was arranged to accommodate out guests and have space for the dance area and for chat in small groups. The food and drinks were great. We choose to offer our guests menu options and the food was freshly cooked to the guests' choice. The service was great, the personal was taking care of all the guests with a personal touch to the entire party.Since we stayed at the hotel, we also had breakfast at this restaurant. The food was very fresh, diverse (much more diverse than other hotels that offer breakfast included). If you're in a big hurry this is not the place to go, but if you want to have a great meal experience, with freshly prepared food I strongly recommend this place.

Pizzas are big, especially Pizza Alegria (almost a half kilo!)The staff is supportive and friendly. We recommend this place, if your expectations are not too high.

We came here first on a Thursday evening for dinner, only to be told they’re in preparation for an event the following day (Friday). We came back a second time on Saturday around lunchtime. This time we were seated at the back terrace, where quite a few other people sat as well. We were given the extensive menus and, about 10 minutes later a waiter showed up and asked “Do you want to eat?”, to which we naturally replied “Yes...”. “Sorry, only Pizza... we have a large event in the front room...”. From that we gathered that this restaurant either prefers events, or does not function as a proper restaurant when an event is taking place, even if only in one part of the restaurant . Highly disappointed (twice) we regrettably left the place. We were only in town for 3 days, but would not return a 3rd time in any case, so as not to be turned down once again...
