This restaurant stands out from most in Romania as the food is genuinely gastronomic, albeit based on traditional fare. The Maitre d' could easily belong in a Michelin restaurant with a detailed knowledge of wines and the food he serves. A special night out, with prices that reflect (but do not overstate) the quality. Hello! Thank You! We are glad that You like our restaurant! We want to make people happy! We are waiting for Your next visit! Have a good day!

Not sure why this place gets weak reviews. We came here after visiting the Rasnov Citadel and had a nice, solid meal of traditional Romanian food. The interior is quite atmospheric, the service was good and the food came out quickly. All in all, I would recommend the place if you're in the area!
A few meters from the center you'll find a charming little restaurant serving traditional and international dishes in a private atmosphere with the true homemade taste. The chef is old school the waiters still have a bit to learn but otherwise it totally worth it!

Nice restaurant with a beautiful sommer terrace and tasty food //
Very high prices for cheap food. When i say cheap belive me....the cheapest one available on the market is sold for a very high price. Dirty toilet, cloghed sink, no soap and the list can go on. I would never go there again

We wandered into Rasnov after visiting the nearby Bear Sanctuary and came across this place. It looked really cute compared to other places in the square. The food was gorgeous and so tasty and we really enjoyed our time in the garden atmosphere. We would definitely return!Reading a below review I know exactly which waitress was mentioned. A blonde lady that was quick to react badly to us being Engish speakers. We actually speak a fair bit of Romanian and were ready to try and communicate or just point to what we wanted on the menu but she just muttered no English and walked off in a mood and shouted to her English speaking colleague to take our order instead. He was lovely and very attentive thank you! We weren't bothered by her but I can see how others would be and could affect negative reviews in future. Don't let this put you off, it's rare to find happy cheery Romanian waitresses anywhere in the country! It's just their style. :)

The food was cold and the vegetables not proberly cooked. Polenta tasted like nothing and the fries were sticky and floppy. Too much fat on the food. Service was ok.

Wonderful people and great food, the kitchen is open space so one can see the food being prepared. Don't expect to find fast food meals, but be prepared for a tasteful experience and for great hospitality.

"la Promenada" is a restaurant for families with a indoor and outdoor playground. It is situated in the most beautiful place in Rasnov, very close to city center, in the Promenada Park. Enjoy chef's traditional and international specialities in a natural
We dined twice in La Promenada during our stay in RâÅnov and would highly recommend it. Service was very friendly on both occasions and the food excellent. Unlike a lot of other restaurants in Romania, there was a good selection of vegetarian options. Also, definitely try the papanaÈi for desert (one between two people is enough!) as they are amazing, especially the blueberry jam.

"La Strada Bistronomie" - A Solution and a trend!
The waiter needed some time to come but he was very friendly, tried to help me through the menu and recommended the homemade pasta. Was delicious and the lemonade too. Then he recommended some non alcoholic blueberry drink. A must try !
