Location-easy to get and it can be seen from the main road.Food-only traditional delights, very diverse and tasteful.Staff- friendly people and helpfullParty-this was the reason I was there. I can say it was a nice surprise to see how good organised was everithing, the band that sing was incredible and they offered us traditional food for that event (Christmas).I recomand this inn for their party's and if you want to feel the traditional roamnin hospitality.
Very nice location and view, on the beach with teables outside just near the water. The inside is nice, somehow rustic with fishing village themes. Food acceptable but below expectation considering the high prices. Service was poor, with serving waiting time very, very long. We waited more than one hour and a half for the main course. In conclusion a nice location with overpriced average food and long waiting time. Worth one visit but no more.
The oldest restaurant/bar from this seaside town. The place is originaly and unique decorated in industrial-mediteraneean style with pieces from diving and navigation history all over the place. Unique seafood recipes with fresh fish and seafruits from th
We came to the restaurant because of the one positive review they have (which I now honestly think it was written by the restaurant's owner)! We waited at a table inside for 15 minutes and no one brought us menus. I had to go and grab some so we can decide what to eat (we were starving). In the meantime, we moved at a table outside where we waited 10 more minutes until a waitress came. We tried to order multiple things but for most of them her answer was "we don't have it". One of my friends wanted to order French fries with cheese on top and some tomatoes but the waitress told him that she can't go with that order to the kitchen because that's food that you normally order for breakfast! In the end, the food arrived but it wasn't what we expected at all. The potatoes lacked the onion and the bacon that make the whole "cartofi taranesti" dish what it is, the salad of the house had mayo in it which in combination with eggs and fried snitzel couldn't be eaten, the "hamsii" were so bad that we couldn't even touch them and, on top of everything, the waitress forgot to bring one of the dishes we ordered. The wine was also really bad so we left almost the entire bottle on the table. At some point, after the first round of food arrived, we asked another waitress to bring us another Greek salad and she was very surprised that we wanted to order something else on top of what we had already ordered, letting us know that she was going to ask if it was possible. To make our night even more unpleasant, when we received the check I let the waitress know that the polenta and cheese we order never arrived. Her attitude was as if it was our duty to keep bugging her to bring us everything we asked for (when whenever we asked for something her attitude was like it was the last thing she planned on doing) and that because we didn't do so, she was now going to have to pay for it out of her own pocket. We informed her it wasn't our problem and her reply was that we should divide the amount between us and pay for what we didn't receive (in the meantime we realized that on the check there was a big bottle of water that we didn't order nor received for which she wanted us to pay for as well). In the end, she was the one pissed when one of us didn't even get to have dinner tonight! Bottom line, don't eat here. Rude staff, mediocre food!!!
If you want an unsophisticated meal under an umbrella at an excellent price, come to Pongal. One of the few restaurants in Eforie Sud open all year round, Pongal offers all sorts of grilled meat, excellent mici and the best tripe soup (ciorba de burta) in Romania, together with a cold beer and good wines. Owner Mr. Dan and his team offer an attentive and personalised care to their clients. There is also a little hotel attached, with wonderful evening views over the lake.
I decided to try this restaurant based on tripadvisor reviews. Well, at the beginning I wasn't very impressed, when we arrived they didn't had a menu and we were offered some classic "romanian dishes" like grilled pork neck and fries. We were amused and asked why is the restaurant named "fish taverna", if they don't have fish or seafood. Well, thats when the surprise came and the waiter said, "Oh but we have those too but usually people don't ask for them". :))So we had an awesome fish soup and mussels with red spicy sauce, some of the best I ever had. Also they told us that they have fresh fish everyday and that the food is not kept for the next day.
Das Restaurant ist an der Hauptstrasse, leicht zu erreichen. Sehr guter Service (freundlich, professionell und kompetent), sehr guter Koch und somit leckeres Essen.

It was born from the need to enjoy the beauty of nature and from the great desire to express our cuisine art through delicious fresh fish dishes and seafood. Located on Agigea beach, faraway from the bustle of urban civilization, this restaurant has a Med
We explored the area and took a chance trying this amazing restaurant right on the sea.shore. 5 of us tried different options on the starters and main meal menu and all but one of us were happy. I was unhappy with the turbot, which was one of the most expensive pieces on the menu, but the portion was ridiculously small and I could barely taste it. All the other food I tasted was excellent. I suppose the turbot was out of season and they should not have served it. Ambiance was clean and our server was quick, efficient and polite. I definitely consider this restaurant experience as better than the next door competition, Pescaria lui Matei. The menus had an English option and the server managed proper communication in English.
