This is a great place to stop and eat whether you're passing through or a local. The food and service is consistently on Parr. The owners take great pride in their business and it shows throughout the meal. The owners make beautiful music together, really, ask them to put one of their CDs on, very relaxing.

We are locals and eat at Dini's Coffee Shop frequently. Our favorite is probably breakfast. Nothing fancy, but good, and with few exceptions, the service is always good. When it's very busy, it gets a little hectic for the staff, but they almost always smile through it.

Finding this bakery was a pleasant surprise! Everything is MADE FROM SCRATCH. The owner has been a professional baker for several decades, and is proud of her products. In addition to her bear claws, muffins, raisin snails, danishes, etc., she also makes cookie packages, and "meals for two" to go. And, espresso drinks! The only drawback is there are no tables, so everything is takeaway. This is good stuff - yummy!

This is a solid small town diner with basic food, friendly service, good prices, and a cute no frills atmosphere.
I debated between three and four stars but decided to bump it up to four as there are not a whole lot of options in Yerington and this is a really good option.
It is conveniently located East of Yerington on 95-A and is a great option for picking up a bite to eat if on your way from Reno to Las Vegas. There is also a small convenience store for picking up supplies for the trip through the desolation of Nevada
I had the BLT and potato salad for lunch. The lettuce and tomato were very fresh with the tomato succulent and the lettuce crispy. The bacon was very good, but was chopped more like bacon bits for on a salad than strips which are more common on a sandwich. While it was a little messy to eat, the bacon was very crispy and flavorful. There was also just the right amount of mayonnaise on the bread to moisten the lightly toasted whole wheat. Yes, I had a choice of bread. The potato salad was very much house made and was a little bland, but otherwise, most satisfying with large chunks of real potatoes, mayo and just enough celery to give it crunch.
Service was friendly, but a tad slow. Just one person was working the dining room. Three of us were able to have a very generous and tasty lunch for $30.
I would recommend stopping here if you are in the area and in need of a basic no frills bite to eat.

This place was actually recommended by the owner of another restaurant in Yerington. The breakfast was outstanding. In particular, visitors should order pancakes or French Toast for no other reason than to try the homemade honey butter syrup. It's amazing. The service was adequate and efficient although not overly friendly. That was more than compensated for by the food however.

You need to eat here to really appreciate what these folks are doing. The portions are large, even the kids portions. But that's not the best part. The food is made from scratch and seasoned perfectly! Even the tortillas are homemade!
No microwaves beeping in this kitchen. You've gotta try it. Nothing more to say!

I very much enjoyed my Margarita, pork tamale, soft taco and the fried ice cream. Everyone at the table had a nice meal and all 5 of us had different entrees. My husbands wet burrito was simply huge. It must have been great, he ate the entire thing.
The taco I ordered was $1.99. And if I was only eating tacos, I would have needed to eat quite a few. They were the small tacos served on 2 4inch in diameter corn tortillas (I think it was like 4"). There was plenty of meat, but I told them I wanted everything MILD. Thankfully I had sour cream to put out the fire.. I am wimpy when it comes to hot stuff.

It's OK. Nice place, decent food, friendly service and . . . . there are not a whole lot of other options in Yerington.
I had been to this restaurants many times before when it was Scobie's, so I was happy to see that a new restaurant had opened in it's place. It has not changed a whole lot from before except there are some additional TV's and a LOT of sports posters and paraphernalia on the walls to really let you know this is now a sports bar..
The service was friendly, but a bit slow. The lone waitress brought me my menu, took my drink order, and brought me my drink right away. And then I waited. And waited. She did eventually come back, took my order and I was served within a reasonable time. She did apologize for the wait. She was friendly and my food was hot from the kitchen.
I had the grilled Pepper-jack Pastrami sandwich with an order of fries. The sandwich was grilled with a nice balance of meat and cheese on parmesan sourdough. It was golden brown and the bread had just a bit of buttery, cheesy crunch. There were pepperonis on the sandwich which was an extra spicy addition to the sandwich. The fries were real potatoes and were crispy and hot.
Would I drive out of my way to eat here? Probably not. But I think it is a solid choice if you happen to be in the area.

This was a great find for us. Once a year we go to Yerington and this Mexican food is really some of the best we have had. It is worth the time to seek El Superior out and eat here. A family owned place, clean friendly fair priced with great décor inside. It is like eating in a Spanish courtyard with a huge dripping water fountain in the center. Very pleasant dinning situation. Seating down the center for large groups, or along the sides in private booths. They even have a large banquet room. All the food our party of six had, was above average in size and taste. Great deserts too. Leave room for one you will not be disappointed.
