Tried in house this evening and wasn't disappointed as I was with their pizza. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Chocolate pudding was delicious. Only down side was the waitress - too pushy to get orders from us. There was only one other group there although later on some lqrger groups did arrive. Overall I was pleasantly surprised.

Don't eat here
Looked at the reviews on trip advisor for this place before deciding to go. Very busy and the service was good. However, the meal that I ordered - seafood combination was terrible. The seafood was cold and the vegetables accompanying it were hot. I did not eat much of it. One and a half hours later after dining here I was violently ill. As I work in the health industry I can confidently attribute this to the meal that I had eaten at this place earlier and probable poor hand hygiene by the staff.

Thoroughly enjoyed dining here. Hot Stone cooking was fun and there were many choices from steak to seafood to vegetarian and easy for the gluten free members of our group too. Nice to have a fine dining option at Club Mulwala for a special meal. Staff were great too.

Main Street bakery catering to more than baked goods with juice, light meals and has a business award for excellence.
Although we were not after a huge meal, our rolls were still filling. My roast beef roll dripped with delicious gravy, with the beef so tender it was almost possible to suck it away.
My better half chose a salad roll with all ingredients being fresh and tasty.
All the bread on the shelves looked as if they could be devoured without any problems.

Just next to the Yarrawonga hotel, on the main street. This is a bakery and cafe, and when we were there for breakfast it was buzzing. The guy behind the coffee machine did an admirable job keeping up with all the orders. The breads looked good too, although we didn't try them. Lots of locals coming and going (for both coffee and bread) which has to be a good sign. A nice find in a small town.

The Royal Mail Hotel is situated in the picturesque town of Mulwala less than a 1km over the Victorian border into NSW. Set just across from Lake Mulwala, boasting two alfresco dining areas and a large lush beer garden, it is perfectly located to enjoy everything the sun country has to offer. Service excellence is paramount, the food is simple, honest with a refreshing twist on traditional pub grub. Come and enjoy the friendly service, soak in the relaxing atmosphere while sipping down the coldest beer on the Murray River!
We wandered in here at about 8:30 after being turned away from the other pub in town for being 5 minutes late. The boss here could not have been more accommodating to us and set about making us feel welcome and comfortable. We were all ravenous by now and happy to see our meals arrive licketty split. A beautiful feed and a couple more cold ones did the trick. In no time we were all sated and feeling so much better. Our pleasant evening and faith in publicans had been restored.
If you come across the bridge by no means drive past this one to get to the other one cause you'll be back.

Breakfast here was lovely. My skinny, decaf, weak latte was made just how I liked it. My partner ordered the large breakfast. They really meant large. Two people could probably share it. The wood fire is an added bonus on a cold morning. Gluten free options available. Well priced. Noticed quite a few locals were breakfasting here.
