Yachats (/ˈjɑːhɑːts/ YAH-hahts) is a small coastal city in Lincoln County, Oregon, United States. According to Oregon Geographic Names, the name comes from the Siletz language, and means "dark water at the foot of the mountain". There is a range of differing etymologies, however. William Bright says the name comes from the Alsea placename yáx̣ayk (IPA: /ˈjaχajkʲ/). At the 2010 census, the city's population was 690. In 2007, Budget Travel magazine named Yachats one of the "Ten Coolest Small Towns of the U.S.A.", and Yachats was chosen among the top 10 U.S. up-and-coming vacation destinations by Virtualtourist. In 2011, Arthur Frommer, founder of Frommer's Travel Guides, listed Yachats number seven among his ten favorite vacation destinations in the world.

Stopped here in am for coffee and snacks and was happy we did. Cool atmosphere with great coffee and pastries and food, smells great. Not much seating, gets busy quick, seating for appox 25. Cute, quaint coffee shop with high quality coffee and food, the blueberry lemon scone was killer as was the kids orange?? hot chocolate. Not the fastest, but the best coffee shop we visited on the coast from Monterey, Ca to Seattle, Wa.

A cute place for lunch and a Wonderful bakery! I never travel up the coast without stopping to bring some of their delicious goodies home.
We stopped in for a pastry for breakfast. They had a very nice assortment of items. We selected two different turnovers and both were great. I had a can of Italian grapefruit soda and my husband had a coffee which he said was also great. In addition to sweet treats, they also have some savory items. It's not very big so you might have to wait or get takeout.

Founded by Nathan and Cicely Bernard, Yachats Brewing located in the heart of Yachats, on the central Oregon coast. Starting with just the structural shell of what was built as a bank in 1965, the brewery and store have transformed the site into a thriving, productive center for food, beer, and culture. Using almost entirely salvage and reclaimed materials, the space overflows with the stories of each piece. Polished concrete countertops, old growth bar top, timber post and beam, wine barrel furniture, and remnants of it's logging roots backdrop the vibrant color, texture, and flavor of locally grown produce, pasture raised meats, and house fermented vegetables. Our fermented foods bring living food fans from far and wide. Since opening it's doors in July 2012, Yachats Brewing + Farmstore has become a reflection of it's place, of the unique character and culture of our coastal village and inland farms. Look for Yachats Brewing beers on a tap near you, and in your favorite bottle shop.
We love cruising the Pacific Northwest for its local brew pubs. Each with its own brew styles and vibe. If they offer up some good grub it's just icing on the cake. But, here we were happy with the IPAs but, blown away by the...MoreThank you! We strive to not be a typical brew pub experience. Chef Rachael is classically trained and offers some truly authentic craft kitchen food. Hope to see you again and cheers! Jennifer

Drive thru Espresso serving mochas, lattes, brewed coffee, iced and blended frappes, chai tea, baked goods.
Driving south from Gleneden Beach, drinking in the gorgeous scenery of rich greens suddenly parting to reveal stunning blue white sea and sky, we stopped at Espresso 101 for a coffee break. There were a couple of roadside tables for us to relax. Intriguing choice of wet or dry cappuccino offered. The coffee was ok and afterwards I enjoyed stretching my legs for a wander along the small street. Other needs catered for with a law office across the road from a Cannabis shop.

The only drive thru espresso and coffee house in Yachats where you're sure to experience a terrific cup of organic french house coffee and sip on your favorite espresso drinks made to perfection. The yummiest of pastries baked daily, scones, muffins, coffee cake, cookies, and Pacific Sourdough baked goods. Come sit by the fire, enjoy local gossip and make a few new friends. Open 7 days, 7am-5pm.
Hubby ran out one morning to get us 'real' drinks, rather than the homemade at the house we'd rented... his latte was good (he said), my chai was one of the worst I've had in years... tasted like luke warm milk... since the house was a bit out of town we did not go back to return, but we also did not return there again... we waited until Waldport.

This is a gem among restaurants in Yachats. We made a reservation and were seated promptly. The sourdough bread was fresh and tasty. We had chanterelle soup and beet salad for the first course and continued with seafood pasta and grilled seafood platter. All the dishes were just wonderfully made and presented. They have a very reasonable wine list as well. Thank you for the memorable meal.

Early breakfast food cravings led me to this eatery and the dungeness crab omelet looked too good to bypass, so I ordered it. It was, in this order, huge, delicious and very satisfying. It came with artisan sourdough bread toast and really good potatoes. A treasure--please visit often to keep it in business for my next coast trip.

Toppers has been a favorite since opened ....my kids when they were very little would get excited WEEKS before we came to Oregon about seeing Toppers. Way back they did pizza, they loved that. But the real excitement was the candy and the ice cream. They would save their allowances to spend at Toppers. Now they are all grown and when I visit Yachats, (I now live in Oregon) I bring them home....goodies from Toppers. They love the place still and I can't wait to see them taking their kids there. It's the type of place to make family memories. Get a cone, walk the shoreline with it...and talk.

We never come to Yachats with a visit to Luna, and we're never disappointed! The fish and chips is the best either my wife or I have had anywhere, hands down. Fresh caught fish, perfectly breaded and fried, with crispy French fries and great tarter sauce. It's a cozy little place, and the service has always been prompt and friendly. Can't recommend the place highly enough!

We are a unique, fun and cozy place to dine for any meal! With umbrella's on the ceiling, local art on the walls and music every night, you will be hard pressed to find anything like us. Come visit and try many of our locally derived and delicious culinary concoctions.
A accidently reviewed the wrong restaurant first. This is the right one. Sorry.
Let me start by telling a funny story about the waitress. She came to take our order and I ordered an omelette and side of bacon. She said hold the toast and potatoes, right? I'm diabetic so I am thinking how did she know I would say that. I was freaking out. I said how did you know? She said, you just didn't recognize me cause I'm wearing a hat. I served you last night at another restaurant (2 jobs) and I remembered you both. This has never happened to me before and I was really tickled. With that being said my crab omelette was outstanding, stuffed generously with crab. My wife had crab eggs Benedict and it was to die for. We go here every time we travel in or around the Yachats area. I suggest you stop into this eclectic place and there's live music for dinner time.
