A merry old seafood joint in the best little town on Earth called Woy Woy, sitting on a jetty on Brisbane Water on the beautiful NSW Central Coast. A seafood market, take away fish & chip shop and a killer laid back restaurant. Come for a very very very casual dining experience surrounded by pelicans, boats & mangroves. Bring a smile, leave your pretensions at the door and enjoy some of freshest and most delicious seafood you'll ever eat! We're not fine dining, we're bloody good fish & chips on the water with beautiful wines to match. We look forward to seeing you at the Wharf.
Restaurant has been modernised and remodelled, however that is only positive going for it. Lunch, arrived at 12.45 ,ordered and served at 2.00 pm. Simple orders of Fish and chips, not even a salad to go with it, .ordered Mahi Mahi, with chips ,cost $45. Asked about delay and was advised they had to debone the fish, .service totally lacking, food lacking, a shame because still a lovely outlook

Dropped in for lunch with my sister who lives locally, never been here before. The staff are warm, friendly and helpful and quite astute. We changed tables after being seated, to get out of the wind and this didn't cause any issues in a full cafe. My sister and I were hungry and looking forward to a delicious lunch. My sister ordered Salt and Pepper Squid ($15.50) consisting of fried strips of squid, a special mix of salt and pepper, a nice salad with sweet chilli sauce and a generous amount of thick cut chips. My sister was unhappy with the Squid which she thought was not cooked properly and was tough and chewy. She still persisted and ate the lot, but she didn't eat all of the salad or the chips, as she said there was too much on the plate. I ordered the Portuguese Chicken Burger ($13.50) consisting of chargrilled, Peri Peri marinated chicken breast, lettuce, tomatoes and mayo on a Turkish bun, with thick cut chips. I loved the chargrilled chicken and the chips and left an empty plate. I also ate some of my sister's salad which I also liked. My sister drank a mixed juice which tasted quite sour which was served in a jar and I drank a tin of Diet Coke served in a glass with ice. I didn't taste any Peri Peri (lemon, garlic, chilli, paprika, pepper or oregano) flavouring in the chicken, so I would suggest they add some more flavour. The meals are big and generally look great, they just need to focus on flavouring and cooking.

On our way home from Gosford, we came across a hidden delight that was almost missed. Located on a corner, one can easily miss this restaurant, as it blends in with the houses.
Being a public holiday, there was a surcharge. But that did not stop ample portions on a lunch special of $9.90 for a main.
Staff are very friendly. From Seating, till food on the table was quick. Food was very rich in flavours, with plenty of chicken and beef in the dishes we ordered.
Would highly recommend when visiting Woy Woy.

Keep thinking it will be better then the last visit and it never is. The food is very average and way over priced. Coffee is rubbish most of the time and staff/ atmosphere are also average. Really has nothing going for it.

Our beautiful heritage style Brasserie offers quality food for every occasion. We also offer a great selection of seniors and kids meals at affordable prices. The Bayview Hotel is one of Woy Woy's most popular restaurants and we serve only the freshest local ingredients. Now having undergone a complete renovation with a brand new beer garden overlooking Brisbane Water, a new menu and a new chef there is a reason The Bayview is the talk of the town.
Went there on Australia Day for lunch so obviously crowded. The renovations to the pub are good and open up the views. Thr older part of the pub though is a bit run down.
Big crowd on Australia Day but the service for good and drink was good. We hada variety of food and whilst fresh was on average OK. Burger was kist a hamburger amd the chips maybe done in old oil. The prawns looked and tasted good. Vegetarian dish was ok also. Nothing to get excited about. Would be better visiting the cafe across the road at the prices charged.

We celebrated a small family birthday and were seated inside. The acoustics were loud, but at least the party next to us with over twenty people were having a good time. Rather than serve bottles of water, there were an abundance of waiters always topping up glasses - very nice touch. When I raised my hand, the attention of our hosts was immediate. After the sun set the blinds were rolled up and the big glass windows facing the street let in lots of twilight. We could see the diners seated out near Picnic Parade. The smell of passing cars might have been a nuisance, but at least it was quiet out there. We were amazed at the entrees and the mains which were tasty and huge. I had the chicken dopiaza which came with a garnish and we ordered their special garlic cheese naan and saffron rice which was mouth wateringly good. Very happy to go back, but I’d like to ask for a bigger table to put all our drinks and dishes.

There was a time when going out meant connecting with friends, chatting and relaxing. Enjoying a good drink and great food. It was about people enjoying the company of others. We believe this tradition should be restored. ReviveR has been created around this belief. We have created a space that allows for you to chat with your friends, to connect, to relax, and enjoy their company. No screens, no pokies, just people connecting. Come give us a try and see if it works for you.
My partner and I visited here tonight with our son. We were made to feel very welcome. The staff were amazing, warm and friendly. The cocktails are superb, as was the food. The wings in particular are a must! Thanks guys we will be back!

Great little place to have a relaxing meal / snack / takeaway. The juice options are unusual and delicious. Even the humble scrambled eggs on sourdough was unreal. We were in the area for 3 days and ate there (breakfast / lunch) once every day. Nice coffee too.

We went there from Killcare because of the good Tripit Reviews. Average is too kind a word to describe the experience. Forget and ignore that rating please.
My wife ordered the Chicken. A very generous half a chicken arrived smothered in a sauce. It was hot on the outside and ice cold inside. Obviously heated up in the microwave. We could not attract the attention of a waitress so she took it to the front desk herself. We observed. Yes, back into the microwave it went. This time it was nuked. Absolutely tasteless and tough. I had the Carbonara pasta. It was very ordinary and the only flavour was that of the excessive quantity of Parmesan cheese that smothered the whole dish. Yuk.
The only way that this food could be rated as highly as it is, is if they got all the family, friends and staff to rate it.

Contemporary Turkish Mezes in Ettalong Beach.
These guys make Turkish food sexy, fun & stylish. We keep on returning because it's just amazing. The beef borek is beautiful & the lamb shoulder feeds a few people. It's usually best to order a bunch of different mains so everyone can try a bit of everything. There's also prawns wrapped in stringy crunchy pastry & drizzled with delectable orange syrup. These are a MUST. It's just lovely. Indoor & outdoor Seating & the staff are always delightful.
