Great food, awesome old Florida decorations, crazy neat gift shoppe. I had the Delmonico and seafood. Roasted veggies were to die for and their cornbread was more like cornbread-cake, delicious. Next time we go to the Ivy House and while we are in Williston we'll scuba dive too!

I contacted the corporate headquarters and left two messages for the Customer Care team and never heard back from anyone. I guess it is safe to say we know why the management handles and acts the way they do. Food was cold, manager was rude and was trying to wait tables and manage. Food took over 30 minutes when the restaurant was dead. It is no wonder this restaurant is closing locations!

Completely amazed to find this wonderful restaurant next to a Taco Bell. Food was full of flavor. Got the fried veges and calamari appetizer. Fried perfectly, light, crispy and hot. Got a steak and chicken dish. Sauce on noodles was delicious, chicken a little dry but steak very tender and flavor full. Everything we ate was a surprise. Haven't eaten at such a fantastic Japanese restaurant in so very long. I'm definitely going back.

Visited Melanie's on our way to North Florida. The restaurant is in a converted convenience store and serves authentic southern fare. Servers were attentive, food arrived in a reasonable amount of time and the portions were good. We ordered a hamburger, fries, chopped steak with onions and mushrooms, side salad and corn nuggets. Everything was good. I'm glad we tried it.

Frogs BBQ has been a local institution in Williston since the 1940's. The food is excellent and messy, just like you like it. The tea comes in one size -- huge! The small building has lots of character sitting beside US 27 just South of Williston. Expect to wait a few minutes for your order. Take a menu with you and call ahead next time you come through. Simple down home BBQ at its best.

If your looking for home cooked food this is the place to go. The food is good and the sides are not what you find in a chain restaurant. The cucumber salad was soooo good and I was able to have a bowl of peaches.

I consider Olive Garden average. This was less. Spaghetti over saturated with a basic tomato sauce. Eggplant parmigiana was fair. The best part was the salad... a lot of lettuce and not much else. I might give their pizza a shot as that appears to be what most patrons were ordering but only if it is the only pizzeria in town.

This was our 1st visit here for takeout while staying in Williston. Ordered the Hot & Sour soup, General Tso's Chicken extra spicy & Chicken w/Broccoli.
Of the 3, the soup had the best taste. It had good heat, nice flavor & loaded with various veggies. The Chicken w/Broccoli was hot but lacked flavor. No seasoning. The General Tso's was not spicy at all even ordering it extra spicy. Can't imagine what it would have been normal or maybe they don't know how to add more heat. The pork rice had a yellow tint to it and a hint of sweetness which was unusual. Gave it some soy sauce to counter the sweet taste. On a positive note, the Spring Rolls were hot, not greasy, & filled completely.
As others mentioned, place was clean & staff friendly. If you are craving Chinese, in a pinch it will do. Not terrific but not inedible.

Was in Williston for doctor's appointment, and thought we'd give Los Avinas a try. It was lunch time and they were pretty busy, but there was a table open for us. The staff is friendly and pretty good. We tried some of the combinations and the were OK. The sauce on the enchiladas was a little too tomatoee for our taste. The guacamole and Spanish rice were pretty good. The lettuce and tomato condiments were very fresh. All-in-all it wasn't too bad and worth going to rather than driving a great distance to get other Mexican food.

A painful experience and we were the only ones in there at the time. Had to repeat almost everything 2 & 3 times to get our order completed.
Ask for a particular bread and she grabbed something different. Ask for a specific sub and she says the daily chicken special. Ask for various toppings and have to repeat, repeat, repeat.
I have patience but it was painful.
