Most residents of the far-north territory of Yukon live here in Whitehorse, its capital city. And they'll seize any opportunity to get outside and take in the region's breathtaking wilderness beauty, whether they prefer hunting, angling or cheering on (or participating in) the annual Yukon Quest sled-dog race.

We booked as had missed out previously. The 5 of us really enjoyed everything here from the variety on the menu, drinks and service. There was a great, busy atmosphere with lots of people enjoying the evening in a well presented, cosy restaurant.

When we visit our daughter in Whitehorse, we always make a point of eating out at Sanchez Cantina. Our most recent visit was just as delicious as ever. If you want to try something more authentic than the usual Tex-Mex served elsewhere, this is your restaurant. My absolute favourite is the mole chicken, a delectable sauce made with chocolate and spices - most Mexican restaurants won’t take the time required to make this recipe. Otelina’s mole is superb!
The decor in the restaurant is cozy and warm. The service is helpful and friendly. Looking forward to our next visit to Whitehorse so we can go back!!!!

This restaurant was suggested to us by the hotel staff. We were seated upon arrival and given menus to review. We were surprised how limited the menu was when we were expecting some of the traditional foods so often found in better Italian restaurants. We each made our choice and enjoyed a glass of wine while we waited for our meal to appear. Our selections were OK but overall the restaurant was not what we expected.

Fun, Friendly, "Taste of the Yukon" type of Atmosphere....
Be prepared to wait (long) for a table as they cater to tour companies. Really good atmosphere, very friendly service and decent food ranging from seafood to meats and a lot in-between. Bernd and Bettina Williams Lake, BC

Antoinette’s cuisine is a mix of international flavours with Caribbean infusion. We use traditional, authentic ingredients, enabling our kitchen to hold true to varied and interesting cultural recipes. In summer, enjoy our beautiful covered deck out back (even when it rains) - a little oasis in the heart of downtown. Let's LIME together through pure niceness and good food at lunch, dinner or at our bar.
I had dinner here on my first night in Yukon. I decided to go there slightly earlier before dinner time (~5.30pm) as I didn’t have a booking. I was glad I did because the place was packed soon after. I had the “Crispy Guacamole Salmon...MoreSo glad you enjoyed your dinners. with us! Thank you for taking the time to offer your review and thanks for LIMING with us.

I reviewed this restaurant last year and the short comings were; In a large party of 15 the fed the preschool children last, food supposed to be hot was cold, forgotten orders, crabby server, messy environment, dull tasting food. One year later to the date, the same party, every issue had been addressed; friendly server, hot food, tasty, kids served first, Praise for Golden Sakura, is this serendipity or did they read the review?

The Cafe has a page on Facebooki.
We had dinner here on a particularly busy Friday night in Whitehorse. Unfortunately the staff seemed run off their feet and a little distracted trying to serve all customers. That said, they were friendly once seated and apologetic about the wait for food. We shared a truffle fries, I had the scallop salad and my husband had the elk sausage. The food was quite tasty and relatively reasonably priced (for Whitehorse). The rest of the menu looked interesting and definitely worth a repeat visit.

Dining at The Wheelhouse Restaurant can be best described as "Yukon Casual." Our Sternwheeler themed dining room with 1930's era decor, and large windows offering an abundance of natural light and views of the Yukon River provide a warm and inviting ambiance. The 40 seat garden deck is a popular addition. Open for dinner only, The Wheelhouse has a well established reputation for it's creative Canadian cuisine, and friendly, efficient service. The Wheelhouse Restaurant is the perfect place to host a corporate event, to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries or any special occasion . We are also available for private parties and functions. Closed January 1st until January 23rd 2018.
We visited on a Wednesday evening, the night before we were due to fly home to the UK, and we weren't disappointed. The choice of food is excellent and the food itself is to die for, particularly the desserts. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is great. It does get very busy even during the week so highly recommend booking a table. While we were there a coach arrived with about 40 people (obviously pre-booked) and although the restaurant was then almost full it was not too noisy so the acoustics are obviously good.

Came here with some friends for dinner while in town. The place is absolutely loaded with atmosphere and charm. We were greeted by the owner who takes great pride in the place and rightly so!! The food was to die for and you definitely have to try the home made Ginger Beer.

We remembered seeing this little gem on our last trip to the Yukon and decided we had to stop there on this trip. We were really happy we did. The sandwiches are freshly made with homemade (and delicious) bread. There are numerous sausages and lunch meats to choose from and we found several items we had never seen in our travels. For instance, they sell gypsy bacon. We never heard of this so we bought some and had them slice it thinly for us (delicious by the way!). We had lunch there and also bought lots of lunch meat and cheese for our travels. This is a very worthwhile stop.
