Weybridge /ˈweɪbrɪdʒ/ is a town by the River Wey in the Elmbridge district of Surrey. It is bounded to the north by the River Thames at the mouth of the Wey, from which it gets its name. It is an outlying suburban town within the Greater London Urban Area, situated 7 miles (11 km) northeast of Woking and 16 miles (25 km) southwest of central London. Real estate prices are well above the national average: as of 2008, six of the ten most expensive streets in South East England (defined as the official government region, which excludes Greater London) were in Weybridge.

Don’t come here if you’re in a hurry! It’s not the speediest of services but when it does arrive it’s well presented and tasty. Staff are very friendly and efficient, the tables are positioned quite close together so I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant for a romantic dinner for two. Having said that there’s a bit of a buzz about the place and atmosphere. We had the monkfish and a fillet steak both of which were good followed by chocolate brownie. I look forward to returning to try more dishes from the menu!

Popped in on Sunday evening without a reservation and the restaurant was half full at 7.30pm. Immediately got a table, ordered popadoms, which arrived in 1 minute. Then had veg biriyani and chicken tikka masala. These dishes arrived within minutes.
Couldn’t fault the service. Friendly atmosphere.
I’ve been here many times before. Still very reliable curry house in Weybridge. Just avoid peak times of Friday and Saturday night when they are packed to avoid disappointment. Will come again.

Meejana is an award-winning, boutique Lebanese restaurant in Weybridge, Surrey ideal for a relaxed lunch or informal dinner. The food is traditional Lebanese with over 50 mezze dishes and 20 main courses, plus steaks for those who fancy a change. Half of the menu is vegetarian - this is traditional in Lebanon - and so the cuisine is perfect for all tastes. In general, the food is not spicy and the tastes range from the simple to the unexpected. We make each dish to order so you get the freshest taste you can when dining in the restaurant, which also means that when we are serving lots of mezze (the best way to experience the food) dishes do not arrive at the same time. However, this is usual of Mediterranean dining - you only have to look at tapas in Spanish cuisine - and you can't help but relax with a few friends, some wonderful food and some of the best boutique wines available today.
I ordered a meal through deliveroo at 18.35pm this evening.
2 hours later, lots of phone calls to deliveroo, and having to cancel the order because they had no drivers, I received a phone call from the manager of Meejana, who couldn’t have apologised any more on behalf of deliveroo. He went above and beyond in terms of service. He offered to remake my food order, so it was fresh and he delivered it himself to my front door.
That is what I call going out of your way to ensure that your customer is completely happy.
Once again thank you, the food was fantastic, service impeccable !!!!

If you are anywhere near Weybridge by car or train, this gem of a restaurant must be visited. There is a good range of authentic Nepalese cuisine to satisfy all palates, and (a major plus point) what must be the best and widest vegetarian choices for many miles around - I'm lucky enough to live nearby! Their phone number is 01932 848480 / 848435
We had a takeaway from here, as it was recommended and to be honest it was ok but nothing special. The Aloo Ghobi (they use a different name) was tasteless, the Jalfrezi was passable and the nicest dish was the mushroom rice.

Visiting from Australia for work trip and staying at the nearby Oatlands Hotel for the week, I came over to the Alexander on Mon and Thu evenings. My first time here was this time last year, also on a business trip for a week.
Really nice, easy going staff and great pub food. Good pint of Guinness (and that's coming from an Irishman).
Well done guys. Keep it up. Great local. See you next year.

The Queen's Head was built in the mid 18th century and has been both a coach house and courthouse (complete with its own gallows) before becoming a pub many years ago. Step inside and the character of the building is felt in the cosiness of the snugs, the welcoming bar, the warming open fireplaces and the lovely low ceilings. Our open kitchen shows we are as serious about our food as we are about our ales - the menu features French brasserie dishes with an English pub twist and everything is cooked fresh on the premises. We have a delightful, professional team here to greet you and make sure your visit is relaxing and memorable.
Having only moved into the area a month ago. We’ve now found ourselves going to the Queens head twice in the last 2 weekends.
Last weekend for Sunday lunch which was excellent. The quality of the food was very good. I then rebooked to take my Mum for Mother day on Saturday evening and again the food, service and atmosphere were all superb. My Mum is gluten free and there were plenty of options available for her and they were particularly attentive of her dietary restrictions
My favourite dish so far... the pistachio soufflé is very good!

Since last visiting prices appear to have gone up and portion sizes gone down. Portions previously were ample and delicious with plenty of vegetables. Roast beef on this visit: Beef very good and enough, tasty Yorkshire, rock hard carrots, a tiny bit of cabbage, a liitle bit of parsnip and 3 very small roast potatoes.
Still hungry . . . disappointing for the price but was at least glad to see the service was still excellent.

The Red Lion Pubis one of the oldest established riverside pubs in Shepperton, situated between Sunbury and Chertsey, on what was, for many years the road in the Parish. This was the building occupied by the first known licensee, Robert Reed, between 1722 and 1730. From our bar to our Restaurant- whether you are coming in for a pint, coffee or a business meeting we will cater for all of your needs in a very professional but relaxed style.
The food is really excellent as is the service but kitchen struggled with timings and getting out correct orders.
A busy night , we waited close to an hour for starters to arrive and one of the main courses was wrong.
Having said that the quality was superb and the service from our waitress was bright and cheerful.

Delicious food (plenty of vegetarian options), good portion sizes (not massive, but not minimalist either), and service was relatively fast too. We went on a Saturday evening and they were fully booked up, as the place is quite small (maybe 10-12 tables) I would recommend making a reservation if possible. The staff are friendly and helpful and seemed very in control - they knew the menu well and even remembered who had ordered what when the food came out. Small plates of fruit are provided after the main course, which is a nice touch. Would definitely recommend and would return when I'm next in the area!
