The single serving spinach quiche was really good; especially the crust. We also had egg bagel sandwiches which were good and filling. My favorite part was the dining room (plus the resident cat) which took you back to an earlier time.

One of two sit-down restaurants in Westport this summer, this one serves average fare in a lovely setting...a country hotel with a beautiful front porch with a peek at Lake Champlain and a view of the horse track of the historic fair grounds. There are several dining rooms and a fountain in the entry. The pub is an intimate space with a fireplace and a big screen TV. The French Dip sandwich was mammoth, with jus that was fairly salty onion soup, I think. Tasty though. Breakfast is uninspired, but ok. Maybe skip the hollandaise and the too hard bacon. Service was friendly once, and less so the other time. Depends on the server. This is my second choice of the two but this one is open year round! In fact, I think it's the ONLY one open year round.

My daughter and I drove down from Burlington. Excellent appetizers- scallop cakes, pumpkin chevre and entrees of salmon and brie/bacon chicken. Excellent, super flavors, best meal I've had in this area. I would offer olive oil for dipping bread and the flourless chocolate cake was not as chocolatey as I had hoped but the caramel sauce was excellent It's small, but cozy reminiscent of a Parisian café. Very reasonably priced for the quality of food and wine (Cote du Rhone very good). Get a reservation.

This is not a club in the traditional sense. Agricola Farm provides a multi-course dinner once a month at the farm. You become a member of the "club" by making a reservation and paying in advance via credit card.
The organizer, Allesandra (Ale) also one of the cooks,is from Genoa. She and her spouse raise pigs, sheep, and chickens. Before the dinner a tour is offered of the farm
The dinners are held in a charming farm house on the farm. Dinner consists of many courses of both classic and innovative Italian dishes that represent an area in Italy. There are wines presented at the dinner, but participants are encouraged to bring their own wine and spirits.
The dinner I attended was carefully prepared and presented. Best of all, the dinner had an Italian authenticity. These dinners are not reminiscent of The Olive Garden or other red sauce Italian restaurants. Each course was essentially a small plate with some of the dishes derived from the farm's pigs. Guests are given menus with descriptive information regarding each course.
In sum, the experience is not only unique, reasonably priced, but fun and most importantly delicious.

Newly renovated space that was formal dining rooms in its old life and now a vibrant open tavern space . Give us a try and you will leave very satisfied.
I had lunch at the Deers Head Restaurant and enjoyed it immensely. The food was plentiful and excellent. The wait staff was efficient, pleasant and service impeccable. Appreciated Lynn's attention to detail. Prices were reasonable. The food is locally sourced and there is a statement on the menu concerning allergies and potential problems with certain foods (seafood, shellfish, for example) I sat on the porch with a great view of the court house and property. Thoroughly pleasant experience and I will be back. Thank you!

Ordered a hamburger, and asked for it to be medium well. It came out almost raw. The service was lacking. We had to go up to the counter to ask for more water and the server never came back to ask if anyone wanted more drinks. The soda was extremely watered down and had absolutely no carbonation. I wont be going back to the place anytime soon.

Just wow. What a great catering company! Andrea & Matt were so wonderful to work with, the food was amazing & you cannot beat the price. From day 1, they were so great to work with, extremely organized, we got to have a delicious tasting & anything I was worried about, they took care of. It made our wedding so wonderful & everything went so smoothly. I wish I was getting married again just so I can use them! Thank you guys again so so much!! We are so grateful. <3 Myra & Rylan

Beautiful setting , lake Vt mountains, Ny mountains. Great service from drinks through dinner. Very friendly staff. Appetizers were great, all three of us had escargot. For main course we had catch of day , perch; veal scallopini; steak aupove. All were fantastic and ample sized portions.
My steak was one of the best I have ever had. If you want a fine meal in Westport try this.

An unexpected, welcoming restaurant and cocktail lounge. Check out our updated Autumn menu, our indoor and (seasonally, of course!) outdoor seating, music, live concerts and events, local art, darts, foosball and and… Of course, all the good stuff you know Antidote for - great drinks, good company and welcoming atmosphere.
We went her for a Saturday evening dinner and to listen to the live music. Both the food, simple but excellent American, and the music were great.
