Specifically, my daughter-in-law, to know what a gem this place is. She and my son flew in from Seattle, and after that first hot, fresh bagel straight off of the oven, she had me bring her back two more times. It's a consumer-friendly industrial experience, where you put on your plastic glove, and pick from bins and racks of the freshest, best tasting baked goods you ever ate. I've heard from many restaurants in the area that their breads, served next to their signature dishes, come from Rockland Bakery, and it's no Wonder (yes, pun intended!)
I plan on visiting more frequently, and not taking this wonderful place for granted any longer.

Tables and chairs were filthy. Facility was hot and air conditioning was inadquate. At noon, they were already "out of" half the items listed on the chalkboard for lunch, even though there were very few patrons. There is no service; you get the food yourself from the counter. Food was pretty awful. Cold salad and cooked sandwich were tasteless and seemed to be prepared days ago. This place should stick to the bakery section and leave dining to those who know what they are doing.

Excellent food in an elegantly confortable setting. I had the surf and turf, which may seem unimaginative, but it was beautifully prepared and presented. Good restaurant for business, but a bit expensive.

Yard House is an upscale-casual eatery known for great food, classic rock music and 180 taps of imported, craft and specialty ales & lagers. Whether you’re in the mood for a grilled burger and a pint of your favorite ale, or seared ahi and a chilled martini, Yard House has something for everyone. Yard House is the perfect place to unwind and take a break - meet old friends for happy hour, or make new ones, celebrate a special occasion, or gather your family for dinner.
Recently I came into Yard House for a birthday celebration and left disappointed. I reached out to the restaurant and the General Manager Matt McDougall invited us back for a "do-over" dinner to make up for the huge let down. Matt apologized and kept his word and then some. He made my small family feel welcome, appreciated and special. Matt did one of the most special and memorable things for my son (who recently turned 13) that I have ever seen a manager /stranger do. We felt Matt's true compassion and sincere apologies with his gestures. He did not take for granted that this was just a thirteen year olds birthday, he too expressed he is a father and he understands my concerns & disappointment from the first dinner. Matt told my son that he appreciated him and he was happy that this is his favorite restaurant. Matt McDougall is an asset to their establishment and an excellent representative

With 16 taps of fresh craft beer and hundreds of bottles of the finest beers from around the world, Growler & Gill is the perfect destination for devoted beer enthusiasts as well as newcomers to the pleasures of craft beer. Our establishment is aptly named; you’re invited to sample our selections on-premise in a “gill”—the British equivalent of a 4-ounce glass and fill up a “growler,” a 64-ounce glass refillable jug. Stop in and enjoy a pint, have a cold bottle from our coolers or mix a six-pack of your favorite microbrews to go. Not surprisingly, our bar menu was created with beer in mind— a delicious twist on traditional pub fare that pairs perfectly with every craft beer we serve.Stop in and visit us to see what all the buzz is about and why Growler & Gill is becoming the destination of choice for craft beer lovers in the Tri-state area.
We went for an Oktoberfest celebration, which was fairly overhyped. The German music promised was recorded, waitresses wore a German hat, big deal, and the Oktoberfest-style tent was not much bigger than my bedroom. The German food was OK but the beer, especially the ones with higher alcohol content, comes in small portions that the real Oktoberfest would be embarrassed to serve. You can buy large glasses and get refills, but by that time we were pretty fed up, no pun intended. They have many beers in bottles and cans and you can mix and match your own six-pack. Not really worth the trip unless you're in the neighborhood. And oh, the indoor part of the restaurant has ladies' rest rooms; men were relegated to portable toilets outside the tent, with no sinks for hand-washing. Very classy. If you've ever been to the real Oktoberfest in Munich, you know what a loud, drunken communal experience the men's rooms there can be, but at least they have sinks. The nearby BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse doesn't have nearly as large a selection of beers, and it is a chain, but you may have better luck there.

The Cheesecake Factory offers something for everyone featuring a wide variety of over 200 menu items prepared fresh to order each day, plus over 30 legendary varieties of the Finest Cheesecake.
We had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory just before the evening rush and were seated after a 5 minute wait. The menu is huge -with lots of apps-small plates-sandwiches-wraps-burgers-pasta-fish and meat dishes-they also offer a light menu-the calorie count is also listed-Our waitress was very attentive--the food was very good-There is something for everyone-It's always a sure choice--and the cheesecake of course is great

Very lively atmosphere, basically a bar with resturaunt seating on the side. The BBQ was good, the star was the brisket! Had the combo for one, baby back ribs which were a little dry for me, pulled short rib was nice, but the brisket was great done North Carolina style with that little vinegar taste. The service was great, if you are in the area check it out.

Unlike its Stony Point offshoot, Blu Fig New City is a big hit. Perhaps it's the ambiance of the cobblestone courtyard outside abuzz with people dining al fresco, or of the tin-ceilinged interior that faces a beautiful large pizza oven. Or perhaps it's the large portions and low prices. Though everyone seems to love this restaurant, we have to give it a very mixed review. That picturesque high tin ceiling and the cavernous interior amplify every sound: at lunchtime and dinnertime the noise is overwhelming and conversation is impossible. The quantity and quality of the food vary by dish: the main dish salads are fresh, original, delicious and very affordable: my favorites are the Mediterranean and Southwestern, both very generous with the shrimp. But the chefs' originality doesn't always pay off: the hummus neither looks nor tastes like the real thing; sandwiches are overpriced and understuffed: it's hard to taste anything but the bread; most main dishes are large but diner quality, the exception being their excellent chicken kebabs. By all means stop by and try this restaurant for yourself, but pick your time and menu selection carefully.

This place is awesome! They have cakes, pies, desserts & cheesecakes. We always go here for the carrot cake or the red velvet cake. There cupcakes are incredibly delicious. When we go here I always can't decide because we truly like everything. We also have ordered custom cakes for graduation parties & they were very fresh & good.

Art Cafe's cuisine is inspired by the many coffee shops that you might find in the streets of Tel Aviv and Europe, with a mix of traditional Israeli recipes and some new creative flavors. Not only do we have a passion for great taste but we also focus on food being healthy. We strongly believe in the phrase "you are what you eat" so we integrate Organic products wherever possible into our dishes. Our focus on such great quality and flavor has led us to Blue Bottle Coffee, a fully Organic and fresh brand of coffee based in Oakland, that pairs well with many of our dishes.
Art Cafe is the perfect neighborhood spot. A few weeks ago, my daughter and I were in Westchester, looking for a breakfast spot, and found ourselves driving all the way back to Nyack for Art Cafe. It is that one comfortable spot that you can go for a simple cappuccino, or full fare breakfast, lunch or light dinner. They do not serve meat here, so keep that in mind. Flavors are wonderful without.
