Lunch and dinner at the Terrace are wonderful as well. Starting with the valet team, bellmen, front desk staff, housekeeping staff and absolutely everyone at the Sunset Tower Hotel make it such a pleasure to stay there. We have spent the last 2 years at the Sunset Tower Hotel because everyone always makes it perfection

Cozy atmosphere in an old house. Crowded with locals. Very good food. Lots of choices. Outdoor seating if you want it. Beverly Dr is a great area. Trick is to nail a seat when you arrive. Grab one with dirty dishes if you have to. They will clear it.

BOA Steakhouse is a contemporary American steakhouse. A place for the new "Rat Pack" to hang your hats. Great steaks and seafood, something for everyone with an award winning wine list.
First ever visit to BOA on Sunset Blvd for business dinner. Valet parked due to limited street parking availability. Had driven by a park on Sunset Blvd that had spaces but the long walk to restaurant would be quite onerous. The restaurant’s ambience was geared toward the Hollywood scene, glitzy and noisy. Crowded for dinner, which was a good sign. We chose the indoor seating. Other choices were outdoor seating and bar seating. Service was impeccable. Caesar salad was excellent. The center cut filet steak was well-marbled and decent. This high energy location is suited for a celebration meal or for larger group dining.

This is our second visit to Gracias Madre. Both times have been wonderful.
Our first visit, we had a chance to sit outside on the beautiful patio area. This time, we sat inside. Would recommend choosing outdoor seating if it is available, because the inside seating is a little bit tight.
The food here is consistently good. This time we tried two appetizers (crab cake and Chimichanga) and two entrees (Pozole and the Black Bean Burger) and everything was really good. Plenty of food so we didn't try dessert.
Really good margaritas as well. Suggest getting the salted rim, as the salt seems to be a combination of sugar and salt along with citrus zest. Very yummy.

The famous Sunset Tower Hotel has undergone its first major renovation since the 1980's. The Tower bar Restaurant is now located adjacent to the newly designed lobby and offers a swank lounge and bar dining experience. Custom made banquettes fit directly into windows that showcase an unparalleled view of the Los Angeles skyline. Art deco design influences include walnut with gold inlay trim in a subtle, muted color scheme. The delectable menu features California Bistro with Italian fare. A dress code is enforced, please call for information.
Went with another couple (they chose this venue made reservation). The staff fawned all over us, like we were celebrities (which we are not). The food was fabulous. Four people had four different entrees they had never had before and everyone loved theirs. It was a Wednesday evening and by 8:00 p.m. it was full so if you are not staying at the hotel best make a reservation days in advance (they told me if you are staying at the hotel you get a reservation if you want one).

Finally an authentic Italian cuisine, a restaurant that reminds me of the ones in Rome. We ordered WHOLE MEDITERRANEAN BRANZINO roasted in sea salt, aromatic herbs and VEAL CHOP alla Milanese. Both were great tasting. Great chef, great knowledgeable waiters. Great experience. Worth every dollar.

Food was good but our service poor. Water kept running out. Then they charged $27 for "flat water". Really???? Waiter explained about drought so they didn't offer ice water. Got straightened out but felt taken advantage of!

We scored a booth on a late Friday night and had a wonderful meal. While I'm usually not a bread eater, the sourdough bread with fresh butter was irresistible. The waiter directed us to the avocado salad with citrus to start which was excellent, and then we indulged and had the ribeye steak for two which was also good, washed down with a lovely California cabernet For dessert we split the apple galette with the armagnac ice cream - don't miss it!.

We went here on our first night in LA. I had to have the dry rubbed ribs and was not disappointed!. The service was great and they had a couple of guys coming around taking requests to sing a song for you. Very talented. There is an electric bull if you want to try your luck. Overall a great place to eat! We even got to see a guy fall off a barstool not once but twice ; ) ( never saw anyone really do that....)
