For many years, Spectrum has been one of my favourite restaurants for lunch/dinner with family/friends/business colleagues. The menu boasts some of the best Belgian food - with classics like l'américain (beef tartare) or seasonal dishes with asparagus, mussels or pheasant - but also more exotic dishes like Thai carpaccio or chicken red curry. My all time favourite is the pavé de bœuf, sauce poivre crème concassé.
The menu is updated monthly to reflect seasonal dishes. Friendly, efficient service. Outdoor Terrace. Excellent value for the price paid.

went here for lunch. New concept: high end food available in tapas. We had the 7 course tapas menu, which is reasonably priced at 49€. All dishes come nicely presented, correct portions and well prepared. We espacially appreciated the king crab and the ravioli with gamba. Very good formula! Friendly staff and nice greek wines to discover.

Ate here on recommendation from our B&B and it was fantastic. This place is a traditional Belgian restaurant with excellent grilled meat (4/5 of us ordered steak) and french fries. They offered us free refills of both fries and chocolate sauce that came with the dessert we ordered. The service was excellent. There were English menus available, and they gave us a waiter that spoke English well. The prices were very reasonable. We ordered their specialty dessert - dame blanche - YUM. I would definitely recommend this place - wonderful dining experience!!

I hesitated to write this review and even more to make it very positive. Because I fear that I will draw the attention of too many others to the charms of Den Ouden Belg. And I don't want to spoil it. So don't tell anyone else.
DOB is a wonderfully authentic small restaurant, more a local pub than an actual restaurant to be honest. The building itself is truly an old local pub, across the street from the village church in Relegem (only a stone's throw from the Brussels beltway). And it still is a pub too: you don't need to order food. In fact, DOB prides itself for a selection of wonderful geuze beers. Try some.
On the menu: a small selection of Belgian brasserie dishes and wholesome home cooking (like "stoemp" with sausage).
Go to DOB with family and friends. For a business lunch: only if you are sure that your business partner will appreciate the down to earth style of the place. In fact, don't go to Relegem for business lunches at all. But do go with some nice colleagues for chow down: no other team building activity can beat that.
DOB is only a very small restaurant: make sure to make Reservations.

Brasserie Heysel is located in the North of Brussels. There is a private parking on place.
The menu proposes a nice choice of Belgian and International food. I took the pasta with trufles and funghi porcini. The dish was excellent: tasty but maybe a little bit too small.
We took also a dessert (black chocolate brownie) which was delicious.
The place was nice and the staff was very efficient and friendly.

When I travel to Brussels I can by no way miss to dine at the Aquarius which I consider much better than just a Brassere because of its cosy decor, refined cuisine and whatever I ate there I have never-ever been disappointed nor had any...Morethanks for your visit best regards Guy

I went here based on the reviews and was happy with a waffle with chocolate sauce on and my daughter enjoyed hers with banana slices on too. They are quite busy on a busy tourist street with lots of main shops on. Enjoy taking a breather from your shopping for a tasty treat!

There are obvious positive comments to be made on this restaurant. The choice on the menu, the quality, the composition and presentation of the food (forget about the french fries, this is something to improve though), and even the atmosphere. But somehow the general feeling on the service doesn't make me feel comfortable and fully satisfied to mark this restaurant as a very good. A little too much waiting, sometimes too often having to ask for an extra order of drinks, ...some real 'service' is missing and thats what you would expect for this price.

We are a restaurant, a wine-bar and also a wine shop. We serve lunch (25/40 €) from Wednesday till Saturday. On Friday and Saturdag evenings the restaurant is also open. We advise you to make a reservation. Our chef, Eddy Münster is a Mastercook of Belgium. You are welcome !
We went here based in the recommendation of friends. It is a wine store which offers the possibility to eat.
During the weekend you choice in a menu of 3 4 5 or 6 courses.
The food is of good quality and you receive very good wine propositions.
Good service
Parking in front of the store.
Can't really say anything negative.

We, my wife and myself, were there, invited by a very good friend to celebrate his birthday. We had the opportunity to dine in the kitchen, from which we could watch the functioning of a Michelin star restaurant, in particular the coordinated ballet of the staff, among which the maestria of the lady of the place.
Cuisine is largely above average: every plate is a work of art, accompanied by an eclectic choice of wines. Without boasting, it's difficult to surprise me with an unexpected selection of wines, but this was an occasion for an exercise in modesty. Brilliant from start to end.
Take the menu of the day and let the host select the accompanying wines, it's certainly not cheap but you'll discover new and delicious flavors.
