While staying in the Waycross area we used TA to choose a restaurant near our hotel and since Hog-N-Bones was close and rated the #1 restaurant, we went there. From the reviews we expected a fast food style with an order-and-find-a-seat restaurant. My wife ordered the ribs basket and I ordered the ribs and pulled pork basket. We liked the sauce selection at the table. The ribs were tasty and tender. The sides were fantastic, especially the sweet potato and pecan casserole which was more like a pecan casserole pie! It was very very good. The staff was helpful and checked on us often and our food came out in a timely manner. They do not have alcoholic beverages.
This restaurant was what we expected and was very good.

This restaurant needs an upgrade but the food is always good. Every time I go here, expect to wait for at least 2-15 minutes on your order.

It's inside Kroger. I wish they had a better location with a drive thru. I don't go very often due to location. I had a frozen caramel coffee drink. It was very good. The only thing I give low score for is that it takes forever to get a drink and the location is not convenient.

While evacuating from Florida, on our way to Augusta, we stopped in Waycross and discovered Wong's Palace, nestled across the tracks along Knight Avenue. At first approach, we knew it must be good, simply by the totally packed parking lot in front. The menu is stocked with fantastic choices, all at such reasonable prices, and the portions are huge as well as delicious.
Paul, the owner, is originally from Hong Kong, but learned his culinary skills while working in New York in China Town. All the dishes are excellent.

The portions are generous and it's good quality. There's also an app that allows...MoreThanks for the great review! We are glad you enjoy our brand of Tex-Mex ---friendly and fresh everyday. Did not expect to find such delicious Thai food in Folkston GA. " Gateway to the Okefenokee" :-) Quaint ( read small) little family operated restaurant. The food was fresh, plentiful, and quite delicious! They had a good beer and wine selection. The waitress recommend a Thai beer that they had just got in and it was perfect with our meal. If you ever find yourself in Folkston GA. don't pass this little gem of a restaurant by. Highly recommend!

Waycross doesn't offer much in the way of food other than fast food and bbq. I'm not a bbq person for lunch so KD's was perfect.I had the salmon salad and eggplant fries. Both were great. The atmosphere is laid back and the staff was very friendly. Now I have a go to spot in Waycross.

Rude wait staff. I dropped my lime on the floor and asked for another. He noted that another member of our dining party still had his lime on his glass...so he told me to use his...and he wasn't kidding. Glad I don't live in Waycross. The margarita was too sweet with no flavor, and the fajitas were soggy and limp...don't waste your money or time here.

I'm not a fan of Chick-Fil-A's political/human rights views but they have good chicken. Almost all locations are always busy and this location was no exception. Cars were lined up in the drive-through so I went in. Ordered basic sandwich, fries and diet drink. Counter help was exceptionally friendly. Order taken quickly. I sat down, food was delivered within minutes. Great taste. Fresh flowers on tables. Clean restaurant.

We stopped for a quick bite during the afternoon while driving through Waycross. We were tired and hungry. Home cooked sounded great. Unfortunately that's not what we got. I ordered a grilled cheese. It was super greasy and the cheese was rubbery. The only choice for bread was plain white. I didn't even eat half. My husband ordered a full meal. He wasn't happy either. I tried his cornbread which was really dry. Over priced for sure.
