We've always enjoyed the food & great service for both take out & dining in, including larger groups.

We are a dedicated gluten free and dairy free bakery. We have dessert on hand daily. Check out our Facebook page for daily updates.
My family has been all over the Midwest sampling some of the best gluten-free bakeries, and this place wins hands-down. No contest! Everything they make is remarkably delicious. The owner is nice too and is great at answering questions. Prices are reasonable for gluten-free food (but we would gladly pay double if we had to - Yes my family likes it that much!).
They are mainly a treat shop - cupcakes, cookies, brownies, pumpkin bars, apple crisp, sometimes donuts, etc., but they sell bread too. They also do specialty orders such as wedding and birthday cakes. ALL products are gluten and dairy free, and in our opinion tastier than any treats that are made WITH gluten and dairy.

I have stopped here a few times over the past few years. The ice creams is always great. Even better than the chain ice cream shops and it costs less and you get more!!! The little shoppe is located on the "Triangle" in Old Downtown Waukee. If you are in the area, well worth the stop.
The service is second to none. Keep up the great work!!!

We brought a large group of family for dinner (18 people). The restaurant was not busy at all (likely due to be Tues night and 100 degrees out). The staff explained all the different steaks, chicken, pork and vegetarian dishes (as well as sides). Everyone picked which cut they wanted and then headed to the grill room. It was fun to grill your own food but also very hot. The meat was good. Potatoes were a little on the small side. Salad bar was average. Special note - the drinks were very good. It's kind of pricey considering you're doing most of the work but it's worth a visit if in Des Moines.

Restaurant was recommended to us by the manager of the campground where we were staying. I have to say that we were pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere of the restaurant when we entered. The restaurant appeared to be VERY high end, but as it turned out it was a little expensive but no so much that a family could have a meal there without breaking the bank. The food was done up very nicely. My wife had the Fettuccini with Lobster, and I had the FIlet Mignonette. Both meals were prepared right to our expectations. If you are in the West Des Moines IA area, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

It's Fresh. It's Simple. Tasty food served with a smile. Fresh Mediterranean Express brings the fresh flavors of the Mediterranean to Central Iowa in a casual cafe setting
Been searching for a good Greek restaurant and I believe I have found it. The spicy gyro is wonderful. Their advertisement delivers with fresh, crunchy, flavorful veggies. Overall a great experience. Would definitely eat here again.

The meals came with a slice of sweet yellow bread and some thick dill pickle slices. Sides were ala-cart. Bottle/can self-serve pop & beer. Free ice water on counter. Tried the beef brisket and the pork ribs. Brisket slices were moist and flavorful. Ribs were large, OK tender - not falling off the bone, but had decent rubbed-rib flavor. If you like Smokey D's on the NE side of Des Moines, you'll probably like Kue'd In this west suburb.

We went here last night. Ordered at 5:40 pm. We got the cream cheese egg rolls and pot stickers for appetizers. Dinner order was 1 Pho, chicken stir fry, 2 chicken w/ noodles.
When we got there, there was one family there who had just arrived.
We put our order in for appetizers and the 4 dinners before the other family even ordered.
We received our appetizers about 10 minutes after we ordered. In the meantime, about 5 other tables arrived.
Well, we got the pho at about 6:20. (40 min after we ordered) The 2 chicken with Noodles came about 5 min. after that. My husband's meal, they just put in a to-go box per our request.
The food was OK - not worth waiting 45 minutes for by any means.
They did have a "Help Wanted" on the door, so not sure if that is what the problem is, or if they are normally that slow.
I would not go here again.

There is inside dining for many, and outdoor picnic tables surrounded by the organic farm. There was one choice for dinner, chicken and rice with vegetables and an East Indian flavor. We also had dessert, which was a gluten free carrot cupcakes. Everything was perfect. This is a family that works hard to make such a memorable evening! We even got a tour of the farm by the owner who explained the unique growing techniques used on the farm. Good food and education, a great combination!!

Good entertainment on some eves with outside music in the patio. A fun and friendly place to stop by. Lots of bikers are here -- on the bike trail. Good food and cold beer!
