This place had the best Angus burgers and cole slaw. You have to go there if you are in the area. Nice little town. Restaurant is on the square in Washington. Worth the trip. Service people were great. Also, heard they have a wonderful lunch on Sunday. Hours are 11-2.

My husband and I drive an hour+ from Aiken, SC just to eat at Cade's. Great home-style buffet, with what my husband (a fried chicken connoisseur) calls "the best fried chicken I've ever had." The selections are limited - typically fried chicken, plus one other entre; a couple of country-style vegetables; a couple of starches; and a couple of desserts - but everything is delicious and the service is warm and inviting.
The crowd is typically a mix of locals and tourists. A great family place.

Candice from Callaway Plantation suggested CJ 's for a great salad and pizza and she did not lead us astray. The food was great and server attentive and friendly! I loved the setting (location) on the town square!

All the food we ordered, Chile rellenos, tacos, chalupas was delicious, as well as the beans, rice, chips and sauce. The service was prompt and friendly. We will return. The atmosphere was ok, but not great - less important to us than the food and service. Prices were reasonable.

This was a great find in Washington. We had an excellent breakfast with eggs, bacon and amazing waffles. The people working there were really nice. Would go again.

We had a very nice dinner and a cold beer (served in a mason jar). Food was fantastic, but be prepared to wait a while for your food to arrive at your table. Sit back and enjoy your beer until the food comes your way.

This was a very pleasant surprise, recommended by several locals. This is a trailer food place that you order it to go. I got the beef brisket taco with slaw and the meat was to perfection. I love pickles but I didn't really care for them on the taco so I just ate them separately, something you might want to consider asking about before ordering. Wish I had more time there to order some of their other menu items. Hope the locals who told me about this great little place are giving it some reviews.

In the Zaxby's tradition, the service was great and the food excellent. I had the Chicken Club Combo that was really tasty. The restaurant was clean and convenient to the major highways just east of town. I would definitely recommend this place anytime hunger strikes.

We make at least an annual trek through Washington and stop in for lunch here. Always enjoy it! A meat and veggies kind of place. Excellent fried chicken! Prices are right, people are super nice, and the food is good. Win, win, win!
