Everything from gourmet pizza to fine dining in one little restaurant. We’ve been going here since opening 8-10 years ago. It is local for us so when in doubt Ella’s is our go to place. Excellent food with creative presentation and new tastes every time we dine there. The chef is very good. Never had a bad meal.

This is a best for ice cream spot. You will there trucks everywhere but the real treat is at there stand on Cranberry Highway. There is even a lobster and ice cream special sometimes.

DD continues to deliver a delicious cup of coffee but this place offered little variety in donuts and they run out of good muffins quickly. The manager was superb and the helpers went out of their way to give good service. One helper, though, was complaining out loud about the dirt and hair coming out of the garbage bin. (Should not be discussed in front of the customers!!) Don't be surprised if they don't have your favorite donut!!

One thing that you can state about Dunkin' Donuts is that the options available are consistently and typically pretty good. This location is no different. Enjoy a coffee, a good donut or two, and the 3,000 calories that will somehow sneak through your defenses and call it a day.
Enjoy!

My wife and I have been going to this restaurant for the past 3 to 4 years. It is a hidden gem on the south coast. Leanne, Jane and Pam serve absolutely delicious comfort food, presented nicely at reasonable prices in very relaxed and casual atmosphere over looking a beautiful water view. Our personal favorites are the chicken Parm , Chicken marsala and the chicken piccata. It is only open for dinner and only Wednesday through Saturday. As a result sometimes there can be a wait. They don’t take reservations per se. But if you have some time and want a delicious experience go there.

Situated on the picturesque Weweantic River, the Gateway Tavern is a family friendly restaurant with plenty of seating in our dining room. Watch a game while gathered around the bar with friends, have a family dinner night out in our dining room or call in a take out order. Great Food, Portions and absolutely delicious! Waterfront Dining on our deck overlooking the picturesque Weweantic River! Lunch - Dinner - Daily Specials - Bar - Televisions - Take Out - Gift Cards!
Family of #4 including a wheelchair user. On our last night (Friday) in Massechusettes we decided to visit the Gateway for our evening meal. We were not disappointed, despite arriving approx 6.30pm - 7.00pm, it being extremely busy and having to search for a suitable parking space due to the car park being rather full. This shows just how popular this place is. Such a change from BB's!
Our wheelchair user preferred to use his walking frame rather than struggle with the chair. There was a ramp to the main door. When we entered the bar was full, there was a queue waiting to be seated and we gave our name in and number of people.
We were asked to sit down at the empty tables next to the entrance which were reserved for the band who would be playing later that evening. We had to wait for approx half an hour and other people came and were added to the queue and sat in the porch. Where we sat was cold and draughty but this changed once we were taken through to the main room.
Large dining rooms, large long tables with dividers on which could be removed to accommodate large groups.
I had the Angus Meat Loaf (something I had never tried before) with the mash and veg. I was surprised how tasty it was. Everyone in the group was delighted with their meals and some took half of their meal home in a box as they are large portions!
Fascinating decor with olde worldy items including a mirror advertising a drink from England. :-)

This is a classic summer food stand (ice cream, fried seafood, onion rings, etc.) which fits the bill just right sometimes - especially on a warm summer day when you can sit at the outdoor picnic tables. But this place has indoor seating as well and is open not only during summer. Had delicious grilled cheese sandwich, onion rings and cole slaw - plus some yummy ice cream. It is really an enjoyable experience to eat here.

We went to Wareham to delivery a couch for some friends (yup, I have a pickup). We all went out to brunch after unloading and heard about this place from one of their neighbors. On-street parking on Main Street and seated in a bay-window area (perfect). Our server, Jeneane (hope that's spelled right) was outstanding. Talked about the menu items and made great suggestions. Also balanced our unsteady table. I ordered the two eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast, while my wife ordered the Eggs Benedict. My wife loved hers and so did I. Delicious and my eggs were cooked perfectly to my request. Large servings. Looked like a local favorite. Hometown feel. Reasonable prices. Would certainly return again when in the area. Nice job.

We were really excited when El Mariachi's opened up in Wareham. There's not a lot of options for Mexican food around, and most, if not all, of those options are really TexMex, not authentic Mexican. We've been really happy with nearly every dish we've ordered. The one note I'll make is that they do have a couple of "TexMex" options on the menu and those have generally been a little disappointing. Their mole sauce also is a bit on the bland side BUT still better than any other option within an hour's drive (that I've been able to find, anyway). The street tacos and sampler plates are all incredible, the salsa is amazing, and the margaritas (while expensive) are delicious. It can be a little slow at busy times, but nothing obnoxious, and the staff are all friendly and welcoming. We really love coming here!
