Everything about our meal was wonderful. Quaint farmhouse atmosphere in country setting. Menu had a nice variety of dishes....very fresh salads were served with delicious homemade dressings. We had Fettucine Alfredo and Veal with Mushrooms and both were tremendous. Everything was freshly prepared ....including desserts...we shared Key Lime Pie that had just been made earlier ...OMG and we are experts on Key Lime pie..Great bartender...reasonable prices....well worth the visit.

First walking in was not my perfect setting with the bar area , BUT once seated in the dining area , all was superb. Appitizers , soups were tasty and different. The main courses were prepared very well. Service was fine. View was so nice.
Been back a few times with friends and family...

We had received some Dunkin Donut Gift cards. Since this DD is close, we gave it a try. We were not disappointed. Brandon took our order. He was very professional, very courteous and very helpful. The size of my breakfast sandwich was more than enough and very good. Prices were good. This DD is very clean and well lit, and enough places to sit and enjoy your order.

Came in for a weeknight dinner. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. My partner cannot have gluten, and they went out of their way to ensure she got a good meal.
Shepherd's Pie was good, and her chicken salad was delicious. Both meals and a drink was just over $30.
Will definitely go back when in the area!

I recently purchased a dozen cupcakes for a family gathering and everyone could not stop raving about these cupcakes. The quality and the consistency is unmatched. I have tried several other cupcake locations and have yet to find a better cupcake. It may be a bit out of the way but it is definitely worth the trip.

It's crowded so there is a chance of a wait.
We were seated immediately though. Our server was very friendly and helpful with the menu. We ordered the tuna wrap which was full of sushi grade tuna and vegetables and the chicken sandwich which had delicious avocado and tomato. I probably would have asked for it without bacon if I had been paying attention. The coffee was excellent too. My husband thought the water had a funky taste. I would definitely go if you are in the vicinity.

We happened-on this restaurant when we went to their weekly car show. The restaurant sits on a small airport runway and small planes land and take off intermittent ly. On occasion, they even host parachuters! The restaurant has a large indoor restaurant and a lovely outdoor patio. There's a also a vvery friendly bar. Most importantly however is the menu. The food has never disappointed us. Italian is the main focus. There. Are he traditionall favorites but also dishes like paella, seafood risotto a variety of meat preparations and also burgers. La kids menu is available and the restaurant is kid friendly. Staff is courteous and friendly and revive is mostly timely. We've taken out of town guests here and never been disappointed. Give this restaurant a try if your in this Hudson Valley area..

When traveling this year we've been on the lookout for good chinese restaurants. Tripadvisor has been a great help with that!
We found one in Walden, NY. We've stopped at Ming Jie's House of Plenty three times now and will definitely be back when we're traveling on I 84. The people are quiet and friendly. Good service & awesome food! The hunan chicken has black beans in the sauce which are delicious with broccoli. The Mu Shu will not disappoint and they present it so nicely. Kung Po chicken was also a hit. Lots of fresh crisp vegetables. Don't miss the hot and sour soup. Very tasty as well!
They have lunch specials with white or fried rice and soup until 3:00 and then the menu turns over to dinner. The servings are plentiful. The music is soothing making it a perfect stop off the busy highway. It's not right off the highway, though - but only a 10 minute drive or so.

Tuthill House at the Mill now specializes in creating spectacular cocktails utilizing the craft spirits produced right on the property.
High-quality and interesting food and drink, especially the cocktails. (Try the one with the luxardo.) Perhaps the cheese board was a little unadventurous -- surely the Hudson Valley artisanal cheesemaking community can produce stronger cheeses? In terms of value for money, portion sizes were acceptable but not exceptional, except the truffle fries, which were ample and scrumptiously hot; and the salmon, which was on the small side. A very nice service overall -- no issues on a busy New Year's Eve.
We spent ~$100 including a 20% tip for two appetizers (one eaten as a main), a proper main dish, a side dish, and two drinks. Not cheap but definitely appropriately priced, even for something outside of NYC.
Speaking of which, I'm disappointed by the mild disdain among some Hudson Valley locals for City folk and what we allegedly do for prices. If you want a rip-off (which this is not), you have at least one local institution serving primarily local people with mediocre food at higher prices than Tuthilltown (I'm looking at you, Mariner's Harbor!). Setting aside that I grew up in the HV, not all visitors from NYC are rolling-in-it d'bags. And FWIW the clientele on NYE seemed to be a nice mix of local and out-of-town visitors. OK, I'll put that chip back on my shoulder now.
