Alteingesessenes Ausflugsgasthaus in Bad Leonfelden
After a beautiful ride by horse carriage, up the hill, to this lovely setting, we were welcomed with a glass of bubbly before being led into the tastefully decorated dining area. The food was delicious, the service unwavering and natural surroundings exquisite. Of particular mention would be the roasted pepper soup with a coconut foam and the trio of chocolate desserts.

This place looks great and to have a table next to a window means having a great view. Unfortunately, this is the best thing about it. The food is good, however, it is not something you would remember. The service is slow and not attentive. They passed by like 6 times before noticing that our meals are finished. Price/quality ratio is not good.

I have mixed feeling of this restaurant. We stumbled on it when the weather was getting worse and we did not want to spend too much time looking for a place to have late lunch. The service was not really very friendly. The food was overpriced for what you get. I had veal with Milanese rissotto with saffron, a strange combination but the meat was delicious. Risotto Milanese was OK, though I did not taste any Parmesan cheese in it. The others had pork on the creamy mushroom sauce. Creamy is the word I would not have used, not much cream in it, mushrooms were scarce too. All in all the food was not bad but for the price we paid not really worth it.

The food in the restaurant was surprisingly good, we had pizza and hamburger, only sweet dumplings were a letdown - heavy and hard, I have suspicion that they were frozen before. The service was very good. They have outside Seating in front, but also in the backyard, where it is very quiet.

Visited during Rio Lipno event at the ocassion of Olympic games, were a bit afraid of many people and thus bad service. We found a table outside, we got a menu in few minutes and ordered the food. Food was very nice, modern cuisine and portions big enough. Service was fast and nice. Surely come back when visiting Lipno again.

We just had pizza in this restaurant. The pizza was good/average, but for the high price I would expect more...

On our last day we had dinner at H&M. The waiter serving our table immediately set a high standard, professional service. That really stood out and i wasnt expecting it in a small village in low season.
The next surpise was the menu. Some top quality meats. Yes the prizes are high compared with other restaurants, but its worth it. All the meats were excellent. I really liked the Jack daniels sauce that came with my cut.
I haven't read the other reviews. But there seems to be some mixed reactions. I kinda guessing that maybe they have difficulty keeping up their quality day after day. Also because they serve pizza's as well. That seems to be a strange choice, maybe because tourists want pizza or something. But we definitely came on a good day.

Had dinner here with my family on a rainy summer evening. We were directed to a table in a large room with no other customers. There were people eating in another room, perhaps hotel guests. Service was efficient rather than friendly and we completed our meal very fast which seemed to suit the staff and we were not that keen to hang around.
Food may have been authentic, but it was not memorable. We had better meals in Lipno in livelier places. Perhaps we were unlucky.

Me and my girlfriend were here in September 2013, for my birthday. The location is simply magnificent, near to Vltava, between many Forests and really close to the Castle. The hotel is simple but you have everything you need (included whirlpool on request). Food is good and in very big portions. Globally I would say It was unforgettable experience, and the environment around is one of the best of the whole Czech Republich. Absolutely adviced.

This place, right behind our resort is awesome! Good sitting space outside, great waiters (the most kind waiters we've met this holiday!!), awesome pizza & drinks. Childrens chair available, fast service and very well priced for quality food. We've spend €25 for 2 pizza's, 1ltr water, 2 aperol spritz & 1 weizen beer. Everything was perfect! Would definetly come again.
