The food is amazing, location is superb! The high rating is well deserved. The restaurant is very nice, 1 cozy backside restaurant for a more relaxing me al, and the front side is more of a beachlouge with music. Nice beach, good drinks & great staff!

This restaurant is worth visiting if only to find out about the name. Ask Bill and he will point you to the poem in the menu. My wife and I hade a light meal. We shared a moussaka, Greek salad and Bill's family white wine. It was very pleasant. The food did not knock us off our seats but we enjoyed it.

We ate grilled swordfish and peppers filled with feta. They were good but not incredible. Also we drunk a wine with waiters suggest and it was average too but we can't say anything for it. Tables on the beach was nice. At the end we have a little problem with the bill, because of the wine. We had drunk 375ml wine, but instead they wrote 750ml wine and their fixing operation for the bill was very long. At the end they get the bill again with the same account but they took less money. So it is good to check the bills at every restaurant. Their waiters were friendly and the landscape was amazing.

Stella taverna was the only reason for us returning to Balos, the food is without a doubt the best you could possibly eat. The staff are very attentive and work so well together as a strong team. The octopus and prawns are fantastic, you must try them. I cannot recommend this taverna enough. Well done kariakas and staff.

we had reviewed TA and visited here on its rating g. we were not disappointed. The stifado melted in your mouth and the chicken souvlaki which can sometimes be dry was perfectly moist. The owner and waiter gives a warn welcome and makes each customer feel valued. we were so full at the end of the meal but we were presented with the attached. the fruit and vegetables are grown by Lakis and they were so delicious we managed to eat most of it. Definite must visit.

Elegant , authentic and delicious is one of the benchmarks in Samos. A creation of the whole family . Our motivation for work, traditional products and special flavors , makes the restaurant "IRODION" the haunt of all food lovers. The fresh local products , traditional cooking by Matheos and friendly service combined with the unique location make the "IRODION" the perfect choice for your night out . In "IRODION" you will find traditional Greek dishes cooked the homemade way . Some of our specialties that you should not skip is unrivaled giaprakia with vine leaves and local onion leaves , homemade meatballs with fresh tomato sauce , the fresh salads , the fried saganaki with our cheeses - especially with mastelo cheese - fresh meat cooked and grilled just the way you like it , and much more!!Our wine list consists from local wines of Samos and other popular Greek wines.
We forget my wife's mobile phone at Irodion, the next morning we went back and checked for it the waiter who served us was not happy to see us and blaimed a group of Scandinavian women for stealing it.So this way of defending reinforced our suspicion and we filed a claim at Samos police station.
This attitude of the waiter is not acceptable regardless of any evaluation of food and service.

This restaurant is very hidden from the port but you glean get a very nice view from the top. Food is very good, service is great but unfortunately they don't have Greek desserts. It's a romantic and informal place.

Pythagorio is not a hot bed of fine dining experiences. This is most certainly not fine dining. It is the type of menu that you find in most Greek traditional restaurants. So you need to go in with those expectations. As far as traditional Greek food goes, the Moussaka that I had was good. I think these guys should be admired for their service. They are generally full to capacity and yet the meals come reasonably quickly after ordering and for a harbour-side restaurant who generally do not rely on repeat business, the service was quite good. I wouldn't say the food is incredibly outstanding, it is just that it is probably the best of the cafes on the waterfront.

During our 2 week stay in Votsalakia we tried a number of different restaurants. Most of them was a good experience with good food and friendly staff. We haven’t got the time to write reviews for all these restaurants, but those who left a special impression - good or bad - deserves a review. Argo was one of those.
We had seen that Argo was rated quite good on Tripadvisor, so we wanted to try it. We might have been there on a “bad day” … the waiter might have been sick … etc. etc. But the one time we were there was a disappointing experience, and that is what we can base the review on. First the good part: food was good. Then the bad part: the waiter was sweating so that it was dripping from his face (we were afraid it would drip into the food), glasses were not clean, cutlery was not clean and the (house) wine appeared “thin”. We know this is a traditional greek taverna and not a 5 star Michelin restaurant, but still - compared to other restaurants in the town, this was not a place we wanted to come again.
